I got a new desktop for working on video editing and production. It had been recommended to me that having a dedicated drive for the video files would be more efficient when rendering the videos, so I have this drive for that purpose. This is not the fastest drive on the market, but it seemed like a good value for the money. So far, I can't complain. I am able to render a 50-minute video in under four minutes (not 4k). (I use Adobe Premiere Pro.) I know the drive is not the only factor in rendering times, but it can be a factor if it doesn't perform well enough. So far, I have had no issues with reliability. Since I don't use it as a boot drive, I can't really comment about boot times or other related factors. All told, I recommend this product.

This is a good drive. I decided to return it because I already have a 1 TB NVME and didn't really need the extra storage for the massive cost. Also I decided the risk of overheat without a heatsink is too high. Given the fact that I wanted good airflow in my case and already had enough storage, it wasn't for me. It's an innovative and important product, however. I assume I would have enjoyed it had I kept the item and everything would have been fine in the end (sans money).
