This has turned out to be an awesome purchase. We were quite skeptical as one we set it there didn't seem to be much change. I had it running on high but we changed it to auto. After a couple of days, we started noticing how it would change. If there is a bad smell, it will increase the air flow as it works to clean the air. We chose Bissell because of their knowledge for removing dirt and pet odors from the home. This is one purchase the whole family agrees was a good one.
