I wanted an affordable safe for valuables, home defense products, and documents. This model was in the price range I wanted and it also had a $20 discount. For the price I thought it would be worth checking it out. I was impressed with the packaging. Heavy cardboard box with lots of fitted styrofoam. For the safe itself. It's fairly light. That's what I expected. I wasn't looking for the older, typical heavy iron safe anyway. Yes, it's an import and I generally avoid them, but for the price I'm impressed with the features: + The locking mechanism has thick rods or pins. Not flimsy. + The lock itself is very easy to use, it has a dial that you turn to open the unlocked door. + Three options for unlocking the safe. By Key ( 2 are included), biometric ( fingerprint), or keypad. They all work flawlessly for me. + Programming the lock is easy. When your fingerprint or keycode is set you get a green light on the lock. + The keypad is backlit. The interior light is another nice feature. + The Instructions were clear and helpful. There is a reset button for programming on the battery housing. + Space. Lots of it. This safe has two shelves and an organizer on the inside of the door. At first I didn't see the two keys that came with the safe. I had read a review on Amazon that stated that they were concealed or hidden. Sure enough they were hidden in a little black box. It wasn't really hard to find. The digital items and interior light run on 4 AA batteries that are not included. Not an issue for me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this safe again. It offers decent security at an affordable price and I found it easy to program and use.

I was pleased to see the price on this safe decrease, as I had been watching it for months. When I received and unpacked it, the corners and sides were well protected to keep it damage free in shipping and the small accessories, including the keys, were inside nice boxes to keep them from rattling around. The one thing I noticed was some scratching on the inside, I assume from the loose shelves until you place them where you want them. Since this won’t affect the security of the safe, it’s not a big deal. I easily moved it into the space I had cleared for it. When empty, it wasn’t heavy, maybe just awkward, but easy enough for me to move. I got everything set up inside and I have to say how much I like the interior. The extra pockets on the inside of the door are really made well and not a cheap material. It can easily be removed with Velcro attachments if you choose. I believe the firearm rest can be bolted so it doesn’t move but I haven’t looked into that yet, I want to be sure of placement if I decide to do that. I also did not realize there is a light inside of the safe which is nice. Keep in mind though that the light doesn’t illuminate the whole safe because the shelves are solid. Even with the light on the inside of the door, it really just casts light on the center shelf the way I have it configured. I LOVE that there are several ways to get into the safe - I am terrible at keeping up with the small keys. In addition to keys, there is also a biometric pad for finger prints plus a numeric keypad. Of course, both the biometrics and the keypad run off of battery power so if your batteries run down and you’ve lost the keys, there is a usb-c port to plug the safe into a power source so it can be opened. This doesn’t hold a charge and wouldn’t need to, but rather gives it power long enough to be opened to change the batteries. BUT even better, there is a battery indicator right on the front of the safe that lights up every time the safe is opened so it is easy to see when the battery is low. As you can see, I’m very pleased with the safe and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice medium/large safe.

The media could not be loaded. After deciding which size I settled on the 19”. Sturdy and solid, quantity materials and electronic lock. The biometric fingerprint lock worked flawlessly and was easy to program. My 2nd grimtron safe! Good looking design also and affordable!

Purchased for an anniversary gift and so happy I did! Perfect size for the closet and plenty of space for up to 4 guns and all important documentation. Easy set up and crystal clear instructions for the personal pin and fingerprint ID for 2! Definitely recommend, great customer service as well. Set up for extended warranty and received immediate response for a 1 year extension at no cost!

This safe was clearly used and repackaged and sold to me as new.. The safe has multiple scratches on it and the door doesn't open and close properly. Don't waste your money.

Not a waterproof safe. I wouldn't trust it for my most valuable items. It serves the purpose of a quick safe, but not for long term storage. My evaluation is that it's a bit expensive for what it offers. I kept it not for me, but for my son who appreciated the fingerprint reader it comes equipped with.
