    • Don't bother buying the version that comes with the Bemis toilet seat

I bought the version of this bidet that included the plasticy Bemis toilet seat. To my dismay/surprise, the Bemis seat really wasn't designed to fit this bidet well. I abandoned trying to tighten the toilet seat down over the bidet because I couldn't get it anywhere close to flush following the directions that came with the seat, and went back to my old toilet seat, which surprisingly had no alignment/tightening issues with the bidet. The bidet installation went fine, although a little tricky for me because I had a very small space to work in with this bathroom. After installation, I don't see any leaks, and it appears to work fine. The initial jet of water is quite powerful, but you do seem to get used to it. And it's funny that you do have to kinda "move around" to make sure that the entire area gets covered. I'm looking forward to cutting way back on my toilet paper usage, and I'll be watching closely for any leaks in the coming weeks. Overall, I'd say 4 stars for the bidet, and 1 star for the toilet seat. I'll keep the Bemis seat and use it to replace an older toilet seat in a different bathroom. ... show more

The bidet attachment is wonderful. It is much nicer than the one we had at our old house, and I love that the nozzles only come out to spray when you turn it on. I installed it myself and I’m only moderately handy. My only complaint is I would not have purchased the attachment/seat combo had I known it was a completely separate unit. I thought it would all fit together special but it does not. The seat it came with was very flimsy so I used the seat I had bought for the kids’ bathroom and got them another one later. Yep, I wouldn’t even use this cheap seat in the kids’ bathroom! It’s going in the garage sale. WARNING: If you do use a different seat, don’t forget to also switch out the hardware or you’ll waste an hour trying to figure out why it won’t work. ... show more

This is the first time I’m trying to use a product like this and it could be that I’m just not used to it but I don’t find it to be as beneficial as I thought it would be. Mechanically, two of the three stops on the bottom of the seat which were glued on have fallen off. I’m not sure if there are replacement ones available but they fell down into the toilet before I realized they were gone. It has made the seat a bit uncomfortable to sit on. Hopefully I will grow into using this and give it a better review as I get more experienced with it ... show more

This is my first bidet. My wife and I wanted to give it a try, so we bought a lower end model. We have been very impressed with the shower clean feel each time you go to the restroom. The install was a little more difficult because the bidet and seat are separate so you have to hold the parts together and keep them aligned while trying to get the bolts in and tightened. Other than that, we are very pleased with the item. We have decided to look into the higher end models with the air dryer and remote control to install in the master bathroom. This product was very easy to install and took less than 30mins. Product quality is good and solid; however, one word of caution, the jet nozzle is more powerful than you expect it to be and very accurately placed. Turn it on very slowly until are use to the pressure...It was a WOW experience to say the least. I put this together myself. Took me about 30min. The instructions were easy. My only issue is the seat keeps moving. It might be because I couldn't complete the last step. The wrench I have is too big to wrench off the knobs. I'm hoping when I find the right size, it'll tighten the seat.
