I used this to tear apart my thirty year old swaybar off 93bronco. It did fairly well ! Used it to remove bolts on the spindle that have never been removed before, it pulled them out. Also tires that was easy. I love it perfect for me mainly for my wheels. If I was doing a lot of heavy work which I did some very impressive but my son's electric one weighs like 10 lbs you know kidding but its heavy but its a powerhouse. ... show more

I bought this for home repairs .first time I tried to use it wasn’t very happy , being in a hurry I didn’t have time to mess with it, next time I tried to use it after talking to support,it was all my fault , it has 3 power levels an high is all the way to the left not the right ..anyways I did a break job on my car today an it worked as it should . The media could not be loaded. I'm an engineer and when I buy power tools I normally buy a brand, but in this case I needed a torque wrench for occasional use in my RV, for one of those just in case disasters a "blowout", it can happen even with brand name new tires...it can, I assure you. So, I got this torque wrench for the occasional use in my RV. It comes in a nice case, has a charger, a selection of impact sockets (also the one I needed for my trailer wheels) and a 20 volt, 4 amp hour battery. As you can see from the video I removed a lug bolt from my John Deere Gator that had never been off before. It was kind of corroded and as you can see the breaking torque from this battery operated torque wrench took it right off without a problem, note this was on the highest setting. There are three torque settings #1 is only about 75 lbft of torque, not much, but if you are trying to be gentle with something, maybe ok. Setting #2 is about 188.5 lbft torque and setting #3 is about 337.7 lbft of torque. In my opinion, 337.7 lbft is pretty respectable for a battery operated torque wrench, I've seen higher, but that's pretty good. The unit is pretty heavy, but again, in my opinion, you should not be looking for lightweight in a 1/2" drive torque wrench. The overall build quality of this torque wrench is very good, I would actually match build quality to that of a DeWalt, just based on the quality of the plastics and the rubber integrated into the grip and around the case of the unit. I cannot attest to the quality of the internal components, I can only comment on what I can see and demonstrate what it can do, further, this unit does not cost what a DeWalt costs either. Value for the money is pretty good here, for $100 dollars and for the occasional use case I plan for this, its perfect, no point in paying for a DeWalt, other brand. Another thing is that this unit also has a nice belt clip on the base should you want to place this on your tool belt and it can be changed and put on the other side too, which is a nice touch. Now to the things I don't like about this unit and it's not an insignificant thing, while it's great quality, it's not getting 5 stars. I have looked everywhere for a compatible battery for this torque wrench, the battery connector looks similar to a DeWalt Max battery and I have one, it does not fit. I also looked at Makita, Black and Decker, and several others looking for another battery should I desire to have one, no luck. I also looked in the owners manual and there is no indication of where you can purchase a battery or what other batteries for other brands might be compatible. This is not a deal breaker, the tool works perfectly and the build quality is very good, what this means though is when the battery goes, so does the tool, but, then again, I did the exact same thing recently with a DeWalt drill, so, this might not be an issue. Last similar point, DuraTech has an empty slot in the case for a second battery, maybe they will offer one soon for sale. If Duratech reads this review, at least state what batteries are compatible with your tools, I certainly would appreciate that. ... show more
