After a visit to Tokyo a few years ago, the hotel I stayed at featured a Toto washlet bidet. Wanting to experience the local plumbing upgrade, I nervously pressed the symbols to try the action. After a few days of this, I promised myself that someday I would have this in my home in the US. Someday would come about 10 years later, last week when I finally bought the BB-800. I spent several weeks on Amazon reading reviews, ranking the features I wanted. So many choices, so many manufacturers and models! I settled on the BB-800. If you are reading this you are obviously are interested in buying a bidet seat. Some of the major decisions you make are: Side mount control or hand held remote. I went with side mount because I have no place to easily put a remote, plus the cost was less. This is why I bought the BB-800 instead of the BB-1000. It's easy to reach and right there next to you. The box arrived and it was well packed with no damage. I read instructions and had it installed in 30 minutes. Now I needed to wait for nature to call. Later that day I was called to the throne and after a 10 year wait nervously pressed the appropriate symbols to work the magic. To my delight the Japanese experience was renewed and my dream was realized at last. Why every american home isn't built standard with these is crazy. After a week of use, I threw out the box and packing, knowing I would not want to ever return this to Amazon. This week was the dreaded colonoscopy. Yes I knew that was coming up and yes it did expedite my purchase decision. Now that is behind me (literally) I would never go again without it. To me the true test was this colonoscopy prep lasting 24 hours. I was on the BB-800 no less than 30 times and it saved countless wipes and paper and resulted in no abrasions, no pains, no hemorrhoids, no effort. This was my third colonoscopy prep and by far my all time best thanks to this. When you go once a day or so it's great. Going every few minutes puts this system to the test and it passed with a score of 10. Features - warm seat - you'll go there just for a feel good warming moment. The washer wand cleans itself before and after each use. I found that it took several sessions to play around with the control options to get my favorite settings. The adjustments allow for precision aim to the right spot. Even then a slight position change on the seat accommodates the right feel. Turbo mode - get ready to be butt blasted. Butt in a good way. I read several reviews that the blast is painful but I found that if you work on the aim correctly and yes it takes a little effort at first, then yes you have a full inside out cleansing / enema experience and it works well. In summary, I can't go back to a regular toilet experience. It's just not going to happen. If this one one ever breaks I'll buy another one in a minute. ... show more

We had recently rented a vacation house for 30 days which had a Bio Bidet #BB-600, my first ever installed bidet seat experience. I am a natural born male continuing to be one, I tend to use the toilet a couple of times in the morning. Never have I experienced the cleanliness and convenience (not needing to jump in the shower) each time. I was so wonderfully impressed with the BB-600 that before going home I researched and found the BB-800, primarily because of it's sale price at the time and with a couple additional features. I have since installed the BB-800 and have used it numerous times. I like the control pad because it is a bit bigger and easier to see for me. My wife has begun using it and thinks highly of its' construction, functions and quality feel. I put the stickers back on to give some dimension to the pictures of the seat. ... show more

Loved the first Bio Bidet we installed 5 years ago. Unfortunately the seat cracked at the hinge and a piece broke off. The unit still worked but you could not raise the seat as it would fall down. Usually, the seat will slow slowly but with the broken hinge it would crash down. Ordered a replacement BB-800 on Amazon for a great price and since I was replacing a similar unit from the same manufacturer it was super easy to install. No problems, no leak, and they provide quality fittings. Worked well first time . I had an electrical outlet installed in the bathroom for the first unit. ... show more
