What's not to love , keeps you clean and fresh and saves you money on Toilet paper . I purchased this model As an upgrade to a Bio 600 that was about 7 to 8 years old and wasn't working anymore. Setup was quick and easy and I'm back to enjoying my warm seat and a fresh bottom.

Comes with all the parts needed for install, done by an amateur in less than an hour. Functions as expected in terms of use and "cleaning action," however something in the unit (I presume the water heater) is electrically noisy enough to cause the Cree LED bulbs in the bathroom to flicker rapidly seemingly randomly roughly every fifteen minutes. Initially I balked at the price but after some comparison shopping I found that Bidets in general cost an arm and a leg so I figured I'd get a nice one with all the bells and whistles. After a week of daily use I'm happy with my purchase. The cleaning functions work well & most everything can be adjusted to suit your preferences. The unit is fairly sturdy and secures well to my toilet with no wobble or flexing during use. I haven't had the need to use the enema function yet (and I'm OK with that) but from adjusting the water pressure on the regular cleaning modes I have no doubt it has the power to do the job. The heated seat stays on all the time if you don't turn it off, which is something I was worried it might not do, that will be a great comfort in the coming months. I do have a couple words of caution / suggestions for improvement: The main housing in the back is large. On my standard round style toilet the back of the housing is almost touching the toilet tank when the seat is aligned with the front of the bowl. If your toilet is on the small side it may not fit. The mounting bracket is very adjustable, though, so I believe most standard sizes will work. The seat is sturdy and has 3 tough feet to prevent wobbling if you lean while sitting on it, but the cover is thin flexible plastic with a sloped shape. This means you cannot sit on the cover, or set anything down on it as it would slide off. This is one of the few advantages a regular seat has over this item. The unit is made of a plastic that the manual warns against cleaning with regular toilet cleaners. So either you have to be very careful when spraying into the bowl, or to be safe remove the seat from the bowl entirely. This is a simple matter if you have space on the control panel side of your toilet to set the unit on, you'd just have to turn off the water supply, drain the unit (just hold the release lever for a few seconds), and tilt the whole seat up and to the left, setting it on something elevated to keep the remaining water in the supply hose from flowing into the seat. If you don't have room and have to disconnect the seat from the water supply entirely, you'd also need a wrench to unscrew the supply line and some towels & a bucket to catch the water that is left. If the line that connected to the seat had a separate valve and an easy disconnect the process would be much easier. The air drier works about the same as the hand air driers in public restrooms, which is to say: it gets you mostly dry. You'll still need at least a couple squares of toilet paper to finish the job, but I don't see how to improve upon that without heating your skin up to uncomfortable temperatures. Also note that the air comes from the back of the unit so your rear gets drier that your front. It's good practice to avoid getting water anywhere further forward than necessary since those areas aren't dried as well by the air. The BB-1000 model has an charcoal air filter which you might want if you have a sensitive nose, the air drier tend to stir up slight odors that would otherwise not be noticeable unless you stuck your head in the bowl, but I can't comment on how well it would work. ... show more

After a visit to Tokyo a few years ago, the hotel I stayed at featured a Toto washlet bidet. Wanting to experience the local plumbing upgrade, I nervously pressed the symbols to try the action. After a few days of this, I promised myself that someday I would have this in my home in the US. Someday would come about 10 years later, last week when I finally bought the BB-800. I spent several weeks on Amazon reading reviews, ranking the features I wanted. So many choices, so many manufacturers and models! I settled on the BB-800. If you are reading this you are obviously are interested in buying a bidet seat. Some of the major decisions you make are: Side mount control or hand held remote. I went with side mount because I have no place to easily put a remote, plus the cost was less. This is why I bought the BB-800 instead of the BB-1000. It's easy to reach and right there next to you. The box arrived and it was well packed with no damage. I read instructions and had it installed in 30 minutes. Now I needed to wait for nature to call. Later that day I was called to the throne and after a 10 year wait nervously pressed the appropriate symbols to work the magic. To my delight the Japanese experience was renewed and my dream was realized at last. Why every american home isn't built standard with these is crazy. After a week of use, I threw out the box and packing, knowing I would not want to ever return this to Amazon. This week was the dreaded colonoscopy. Yes I knew that was coming up and yes it did expedite my purchase decision. Now that is behind me (literally) I would never go again without it. To me the true test was this colonoscopy prep lasting 24 hours. I was on the BB-800 no less than 30 times and it saved countless wipes and paper and resulted in no abrasions, no pains, no hemorrhoids, no effort. This was my third colonoscopy prep and by far my all time best thanks to this. When you go once a day or so it's great. Going every few minutes puts this system to the test and it passed with a score of 10. Features - warm seat - you'll go there just for a feel good warming moment. The washer wand cleans itself before and after each use. I found that it took several sessions to play around with the control options to get my favorite settings. The adjustments allow for precision aim to the right spot. Even then a slight position change on the seat accommodates the right feel. Turbo mode - get ready to be butt blasted. Butt in a good way. I read several reviews that the blast is painful but I found that if you work on the aim correctly and yes it takes a little effort at first, then yes you have a full inside out cleansing / enema experience and it works well. In summary, I can't go back to a regular toilet experience. It's just not going to happen. If this one one ever breaks I'll buy another one in a minute. ... show more
