I love love love this curling iron. Leaves my hair feeling so soft and bouncy. The quality is amazing, and my hair never smells burnt after using it like so many others. I love that the barrel is longer, and somehow without burning my hair it curls way quicker! My favorite (and the most user friendly) iron to use. Personally I would go with the 1 inch for most people, although if you like more of a wave the 1.5 is good too! Also super nice that it has a temperature lock so you don’t accidentally turn it up and down. I will never use another curling iron. (pictured is my engagement photos which I used it for :)

I have never had my curls come out as beautifully as they did with the Bio Ionic Long Barrel Styler! The long barrel makes it so much easier to style longer sections of hair quickly, and the curls actually last all day without touch-ups. Seriously, I only had 30 minutes to curl my hair for a wedding and it was perfect. I will attach a photo of the finished product. It heats up fast, glides smoothly through the hair, and leaves a soft, shiny finish without frizz. My hair felt healthy even after styling, and the design made it super comfortable to use. If you’ve struggled to get consistent, salon-quality curls at home, this tool is absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Expensive curling iron but worth every penny. Makes beautiful curls and works awesome for medium-long hair. Doesn’t burn hair, heats evenly and fast. I bought this after my stylist used it on me in the salon. For once I was able to re-create the same hairstyle at home! Highly recommend!

This is the best curling iron that I have ever owned. The curls look great and hold up really well, I never have to worry about getting creases from the clamp. The piece at the end stays cool so that you can hold on to it without worrying about getting burnt. The heat has multiple settings and it has a locking feature so that you don't accidentally change the heat mid curl, super convenient. It seems like they really thought about safety and functionality with this curling iron, it shuts off automatically after an hour. Ultimately it is worthy every penny and I would absolutely recommend splurging on this iron!

I really didn't want to love this curling iron. For the price, I knew it would be an easy one to return if was only mildly better than my beloved Hot Tools curling iron -- but its so much better. I'll never return this one now that I've used it. I rely heavily on reviews for some big purchases so I knew I was in good company. For some history - I curl my long hair between 3-4 times a week. I don't need extremely high heat, but I need consistent heat just to handle the length of hair I have. My hair stylist used this exact same curling iron on me the last time I went in and I was blown away at how my hair curled, stayed curled for 2 days, and did NOT feel fried in the slightest even after my color. #1 - this heated up in like 2minutes, which helps to keep my bathroom counter clear of burning hot implements while I'm still getting makeup on or blow drying. love this feature. #2 - I didn't initially see the 'lock' feature for the heat setting and kept moving the heat up and down with my fingers as I was curling -- of course when I actually READ the label on the side of the tool, it told me exactly how to do that and it's a good feature for me. It also ensures consistent temps throughout the whole process without mistakes -- too hot can be a costly error, and not hot enough just prolongs everything. #3 - Not sure what kind of witchery is involved here, but my hair is actually SOFTER than when I just blow dried it (I have a dyson hair dryer, which already helps with that). It feels and looks healthier. #4 - and this is my last one because it's a cool feature - not even something I was expecting - this curling barrel is an inch or two longer than standard ones. I can curl more of my long hair faster and I simply can't go back to a 'short' barrel anymore. This review photo took me 6.5minutes to do while in my office during my lunch hour. Call it 7minutes ladies with floofing and a spritz of hair spray (I use Aveda) - but its still not a long time at all. GAME CHANGER if you're like me and already running late. Trust me, for the price, I didn't want to love it -- but I do. It's staying with me for as long as it can. No regrets and I hope this helps with anyone else on the fence for this purchase!
