First time bidet owner--- so far so good. No problems with install, or this being cold-water only.

As a first time bidet owner, this exceeded my expectations. I've been meaning to get one for a while, but had doubts, concerns, etc. There were a couple going around social media that are much more pricey but have a nice branded website. I opted to try this one as a test, to see if I enjoyed it, as it basically does the same thing. Impressions: 1) Install: Really straightforward. Not sure if there were instructions, but they weren't even needed. You undo the toilet connector, use the splitter, and reattach to bidet and toilet. For me I had a somewhat rigid toilet hose, and opted to just go to to the local big box store and get a new hose. Measure! I bought a 20" and mine was actually 12". When I attached the bidet, I probably could have got away with 10" since the splitter takes up space. No leaks here, but the bidet includes a small roll of plumbers tape for connections. Just use some. You don't need to buy any extra though. 2) Color/style: I have a white toilet and this is white, what could go wrong? Well, apparently my toilet is slightly off white and this is vibrant white. I stopped noticing the difference 1 day after install, but be warned. The style is fine, but you're definitely just adding something to a normal toilet. They make very expenses bidets that actually transform your seat entirely, etc. Too much commitment for my taste. My one concern as a man is that you see this thing installed more predominantly when the toilet is "up", and you're in pee mode. It kind of blocks 5% of the toilet bowl in back and forces you to concentrate more on aiming things, if you know what I mean. 3) Fit. It's got flexible attachments and other pieces to accommodate some differences in sizes, shape, and height. For me, I didn't really fuss over it all, and didn't use most of it. Really you just take the toilet seat off, and put the bidet between the toilet seat and toilet. That's it for the most part. 4) The bidet. It works great! It's got two settings for what seam to be normal and female parts down there. It sounds complex, but really just points water at slightly different spots and I found, as a man, the female setting was somehow more effective. I think it just depends how you position yourself on the seat. I use both interchangeably. Start slow, as the water speed is adjustable. There does by nature seem to be a threshold where it goes from nothing, to ON, that can be jarring intially. You get used to it though 5) TIPS: Cold water only. I was worried very much about this just being a cold water only bidet, especially in cold Northeast with cold pipes. I researched ones that supported hot water, either with a 2nd hot water attachment for sink; or theoretically something that plugged in too? Pointless if hot water takes 1 minute to reach you though. I wanted simple, and cold water works totally fine. My secret tip: Flush toilet, then use the bidet initially as the toilet tank is refilling. Why? Because it reduces water pressure and lets you ease into things. It's not that cold, though I'm the type of person who likes extra long bidet rinses, just like long showers. After a certain length of time of cold water, things start to go numb, that's when you know to move on. And once the tank has filled the pressure is higher, more intense. Very happy with this for the price. I do see this as a bit of a gateway bidet, into more advanced, or fancier installs though. This is simple and effective, but no bells and whistles really.

Installation was fairly straightforward, even for a beginner, though it took me about 30 to 45 minutes due to the limited space around my water line. My biggest piece of advice is to use Teflon tape and ensure every connection is tight, secure, and perfectly threaded before putting your tools away. If you don't, you’ll be dealing with leaks later—but that’s an installation error, not a product fault. Once properly secured, it works perfectly without any leaks. Don't expect premium, heavy-duty materials here; it is a $40 product. At this price point, it feels a bit close to the $50–$60 range where you might find higher-quality options, so it feels slightly overpriced at $39.99. Also, be mindful that this is a true cold-water bidet—as stated in the description—so expect a chilly experience. Performance-wise, it is strong, powerful, and accurate. However, the fit is a bit tight; it sits close enough to the seat that I have to shift my weight to use it comfortably, which might be an issue depending on your build. It functions well, but I’d say this is better suited for a guest bathroom than for heavy daily use. A few final tips: You’ll need a wrench and a screwdriver. If you haven't removed your toilet seat in a while, be prepared for rusted or seized hardware. Since you’re already taking the seat off, I highly recommend buying new mounting bolts or even a brand-new toilet seat to install at the same time—you’ll be glad you did.

Nothing fancy, but life changing I have to say.

This item has single handedly changed our life (no pun intended)! I don't normally give reviews even when I really like something, but I really felt like it was worth spreading the word about this. Bidets get such a bad rap in this country as being something high falutin or chi-chi. When it's actually a simple necessity. I won't say what my husband was doing before we got this wonderful item, but some people can be really obsessive about being clean and really they have every right. It was easy to install. It took me a while only because I am a VERY methodical, slow and steady sort of person when it comes to instructions. And I’ve never done anything like this before, so I was a little nervous when I started, but I was up to the challenge. It is not hard. I did use Teflon tape on everything except the T valve, only because I couldn’t get it to work for some reason. Haven’t had any leaks or issues and everything seems to be working fine (as of writing this it’s been about six days). I haven't purchased one before because they are usually so expensive. But this is just a no nonsense version that doesn't have any temperature control or remote control. It does have a little bit of pressure control, but it is very limited. It works on water pressure, so it needs a certain pressure for it the valve to trigger. Once it triggers the amount of pressure necessary for that creates a fairly strong stream. Depending on what it hits, it could create a mess in the bowl, so, you know it’s not magic. I’ll let you figure that out. The strong stream doesn’t bother me because I'd rather be clean. I don't need temp control, because I live in a warm area. Anyway, it's so much cleaner. I can't believe we've lived so long without one. We use a lot less toilet paper too. There is a feminine setting and a behind setting. Sometimes I have to adjust how I'm sitting. Nothing fancy, but life changing I have to say.

Great product for price point

I had been interested in trying a bidet for a while, as some of my friends and family swear by it. When this product went on sale, I snapped it up. I felt that around $40 was a good investment to see if I liked it. I also liked the fact that it was not electric, as I do not have an outlet by my toilet and wasn't willing to put one there. Installation was very easy, and everything you need is included with the bidet, and I felt the instructions were very clear. I also watched a YouTube video. Between the two, I was able to get it installed without any leaks and I have no experience working with plumbing. All you need is an adjustable wrench and a half hour. I had some issues getting the cone rubber washer installed onto my toilet valve, the threads wouldn't catch, but I came back to it a day later and it threaded first time, so operator error not product error. My advice is to make sure that the washer is fully seated before trying to attach it to the toilet. I did also have an issue where I overtightened the toilet valve and it caused my toilet to run continuously. My nudging it back a half turn, it fixed that. Having now installed one, I feel very confident if I needed to install it again it would take me approx. 15 minutes. A very easy beginner project. As for the product itself, I do like it! It is unheated, so it will be as cold as your standard toilet/tap water, but I actually don't mind it and there are some days where it is actually rather nice for it to be cold. I do still need to use toilet paper to dry, but it's less than what I would have needed without the bidet. There are two functions, one for your rear and one for feminine hygiene, and I didn't really nice that much of a difference in terms of where it hit, but both got the job done. I personally don't find the pressure to be overly strong, and I usually keep it on the lowest of settings. The actual build of the product seems very good for the price point; the frame is plastic, but the knob is metal and it turns smoothly and there seems to be a bit of a leeway for the "off" position, so if you're not exactly on the off setting it'll still turn off, which is nice when it's dark and you don't want to look down. It's very easy to operate based on feel. Overall, I would highly recommend this if you at all interested in trying out a bidet.

For the price it works just fine. I've installed many of these washlets and this one is just as easy as any. My only gripe would be the small adhesive blocks you need to adhere to the bottom of the toilet seat. This brand is the only one I've had to do that with. The purpose is to raise the seat so you're sitting at a 90 degree angle but, they're cheap and two of mine ended up falling off. Anyway, you get what you pay for. It's still effective.

Honestly, I bought a different brand for the half bath, it this one is FAR SUPERIOR to that one. perfect aim on the spray, easy use, easy installation on 2 different style toilets... let me tell you, there is nothing I would change about this product. High-quality plastic material, and easily installs in the existing waterline. Try it - you will NOT regret it!
