  • Connector will not fit CNCTOPBAOS 3018 pro controller board.

I purchased this because CNCTOPBAOS was the same supplier for my new 3018 machine. It did not, you have to put a completely different connector on the wire to work. Clips and a wire -what else can go wrong, right? 🙃 what I did was to solder a neodymium magnet to one of the leads end, the other end with the aligator clips. I then did away with the disk and plate. For my application I just needed a simple close circuit. I use the magnet on the spindle’s collet, right above the bit -in case I accidentally start it, the magnet quickly detaches and there’s no harm. ... show more

I set this up in a CNC mill, it repeated down to .0001” every time. The ruby probe measured .118” I would have preferred to see an even size like .200” for easier machine setup. The ruby probe should remain stable with temperature fluctuations. I use them all the time on the CMM

The circuitry appears to function for a minute or two, but after this time it drains the CR1632 battery completely. There is no on-off switch, but even if there were, this would not be acceptable. Also the battery holder was incorrectly soldered.
