The product description says it comes with 3/8" binding spines but actually came with 5/16" spines which limits the number of pages that can be bound. I had to purchase 3/8" spines from Office Depot. The instructions were just about useless--you will need to look elsewhere to learn how the binder works. Other than that, it works well for small jobs and the price is right.

I used a thicker quality paper so I could only do 4 or 5 pages at a time. That is the only drawback. Otherwise it is sturdy and easy to align the pages. No worries about crooked sheets or difficulties with punching (as long as you watch the page count). The pages slode perfectly on the metal prongs so they can be bound but the combs included are not for 81/2 x 11, but that was not an issue. I simply snipped a tiny piece off the end and it was just perfect!

I really love this binding machine, but it punches the holes too close to the edge of the paper. Other wise, its very easy to use once you figure it out.

I received this product yesterday. I unboxed it today. I was able to do the punching for the paper. However it would not punch a single cover without jamming. I have an entire packet of covers that are completely ruined. Don’t buy this product. I have to now go to Office Depot and let them do this for me at an astronomical amount of money because your product sucks!!!!

I'm using this machine and the coils to bind the pages of a Bible Memory Book that I have produced with 31 Bible Verses on separate pages shared with a lovely floral photp that I have taken. I sell it for $20 and people who want to memorized key Bible Verses are very grateful to receive the book. This machine enables me to do this as my own project and not have to take the pages to some office supply store to have them do it for me.!!! :-)
