  • Disappointed.
Size: 8.66" 38cc Tiller for Garden
A little bit of elbow grease to put it together but ran into an issue. The handle controls has two female comnectors and no male connector. I tried seaching to box and included packages but to no avail. Very disappointed as i wanted to till today to get my flower garden ready. Edit: i figured it out. Got this thing up and running and its doing a good job. I have to deduct one star for not having an instruction booklet. Online video is good but could use a few more details. Need wheels for to make it easier to use but in all not bad so far. Well its been nearly 1 year and after its been in storage for the winter I took it out to till some land. It now leaks gas. Im not very happy at the moment. I will have to take it to a specialist to get it fixed. ... show more

  • In the dictionary under "Cheap Crap"
The tiller was fairly easy to assemble, but seemed flimsy. When I got it into the garden, I found out how flimsy it was. Two passes across the short length of the garden: a total of 30 feet, and it stopped working. It simply wouldn't run. I tilled a total of 40 square feet. Yeah, it's going back. No, I don't want a replacement. Looks like it's back to the old school- shovel and hoe. ... show more

  • WOW this thing is a BARGAIN
Size: 8.66" 38cc Tiller for Garden
I set out to get a tiller attachment for my weedwacker. When I ran across this for the same price I thought--What the Hay? Coming out of the box it was packed nicely. Seemed better slightly better than average quality. The instructions made assembly more difficult than simply throwing them in the trash. Once assembled I added the oil and fuel and it fired first pull and ran STRONG. NO WAY an attachment would be this powerful. My soil is sandy in FL so it was not really a challenge for this machine. It is highly maneuverable as well. If I only get ONE use out of this thing (will probably get more) it was well worth it! ... show more

  • Good little tiller
Size: 8.66" 38cc Tiller for Garden
I just received the tiller in a well packaged sturdy box. Instructions and video were well done to properly explain the installation process which was not difficult. After installation I added the enclosed oil, some gasoline, push the primer bulb several times and it started up only after a couple pulls. Runs nicely and has the power needed. Very pleased with the results as I’ve had two Mantis tillers in the past and this one is just as good imo at a lower price point. Hopefully it will continue to work as it does now, which I expect it to do. ... show more

  • It works but is a challenge to put together
Size: 8.66" 38cc Tiller for Garden
Excellent packaging, very good re-inforced cardbord box for shipping. Included tools and almost all of the parts - was missing two M6 locking nuts. Procured two M6 nuts at hardware store to complete the build out. Very limited documentation - had to study it quite a bit to make sure all was being put together properly. Not sure if engine oil was sufficient. There are measure marks on the oil cap/stick but the orientation of the oil cap is on the side relative to the upright position of the tiller when on the stand. After adding the entire contents of the small engine oil container (no oil weight specified) I could not get a reading on the oil stick. I found the 10-30w oil comment in the limited instructions and added more 10-30w oil but still had difficulty getting a reading. After I add some more and then put the tiller on the upright position the some oil finally came out of the open oil tank. I let it drain, wiped down the engine and excess oil, and put on the cap. Per the instructions, before putting in any gas, I pulled the starter rope a number of times to insure the engine was lubricated (and also to see if I might have too much oil). It seemed fine so then I added the gas. BTW, there is a brief mention of 92 gas (assumed to be 92 octane), which I used. I was able to start the tiller and use it for 20 minutes or so without any problems. There is a note about adding oil to the gearbox after about 20 hours of operation. I did not see any reference to oil type or how to add it to the gear box. Looking a few inches above the gearbox by the tiller horizontal shaft I did see a hex head plug on the side. I would guess this is where the oil goes and it is probably filled up to that level when in the upright positions, but again there no guidance or reference the oil weight to use in the gear box. I would have considered five stars if the documentation and associated information had been provided, even though there were two missing nuts. I will update later if needed. ... show more
