Worked well for me, and the price was right. I have seen bad reviews for this style of tools saying the plastic handle strips. Sorry, but if this happens to you, then I'd say you didn't understand how to use it and/or you have a seized brake piston.

Really impressed with this brake pad presser. Just used the tool today. At first I thought would be a pain to use because of the knob. But surprisingly it was very simple and easy to use. Happy I purchased this because before I use to use a big old c clamp to press my caliper pistons. This made the job a lot faster. Highly recommend this if you are still using that old c clamp you got from your Dad’s or Grandfather’s tool chest lol. ... show more

    • 1999 Lexus Ls400 Rear Brake Calipers Only
I initially tried these on the front brake calipers on a 1999 Lexus Ls400, but those have multiple pistons. This did not work on the front. They did work well to retract the single piston on the rear brake calipers.
