I needed to maximize my space and wanted under the bed storage this definitely gave what it offered and i love it. really sturdy thick good quality material love the rounded edges I'm always hitting my toes lol, i got the 18 inch and it is super tall and on top of that i have a 14 inch mattress so I'm climbing mt Everest everyday. anyway i really love it it was super easy to put together i did it by myself in 35 minutes just looking at the pieces alone was easy enough to put together with out looking at the instructions. there is plenty of space and storage capacity underneath if you do get the 18 or even 16 because it is tall! there is no squeakiness because everything fit perfectly all pieces secured and tightened perfectly nothing misaligned or missing its structurally perfect basically lol! i don't weigh much for the 3500 weight limit I'm a 4'11 woman lol so this will last me till the end of time! ... show more

I don't know if I would call it 6 inch between frame and floor. If you include the size of the frame. The gap between is probably more like 4 inches. Still a good quality bed. Easy build and surprisingly sturdy.

Very impressed with the quality of this frame. Kit came with a ratchet tool that made construction very easy and they even shipped extra screws just in case. The supporting ribs that hold up the bulk of the bed had plastic ends that not only prevent frame noise but make the pieces fit very tightly together. There's questionable quality out there but I was happy that this was not. Only thing I'd suggest is getting foam pipe insulation tubes for the legs so you don't destroy your toes. ... show more

I’m happy. Went together easy, nothing missing. Tools are fine though I did use my own Allen wrench to start the screws to avoid cross threading. Kind of surprised that the clips fit my box spring perfectly. Lots of room underneath, I don’t store anything underneath my bed but it’s nice to have the option. Stability seems good. The bedframe seemed to be of good quality and sturdy but it was very low to the ground and didn't allow storage underneath. My dog likes to sleep under the bed and couldn't fit.
