We have all seen bike theft videos, so everyone should know there is no such thing as a perfect bike lock. If someone is intent on stealing your bike, they will find a way to defeat whatever you are using. That being said, this is a damn good bike lock for the money. It is not too heavy or bulky, and it is easy to use. Using a key lock is, in my opinion better than a combination lock. This key seems to function quite well, but I am sure an experience lock picker could pick it in short order. The most important thing is to give the impression to potential thieves that they will need to work at it if they want to steal your bike.
