After reading several negative reviews, I wanted to add more. After reaching out to Aventon and finding they don't have a rack for the Soltera 7, I found this rack on Amazon. This rack is sturdy, the nuts are locking, so when the assembly is together, it's pretty solid. I do agree the chrome support arms could be longer, as I'm at the end of them, but overall the installation was really simple. I had no issue with disc brake interference. Was even able to attach my brake/alarm to the rear bracket. Gave it 4 starts only because the support arms need to be longer. ... show more

    • It works as it should but has a lot of screws and will likely loosen. It is also very heavy.
It is pretty solid for a universal rack but is a pain to assemble. If you can find a rack that is meant for your bike even if more money that would be the way to go. This rack is also a solid pound+ than a conventional aluminum rack.

This is a nice rack well made and fairly easy instructions. Unfortunately it won’t fit my bike. I tried adjusting everything and it just don’t fit. This ebike is a fairly new company. I may have to go with the type of cargo rack that hooks on the seat stem. There is just too much going on in the back tire axle. ... show more

I'm only giving 4 star cus the rack was hard to put together and it's smaller then it looks on the picture. All and all would like for it to be bigger but ok with what I got.

I'm a doofus and installed the rack incorrectly (it's a little confusing, but easy enough if you take your time and be sure to tighten everything at the end....I forgot to tighten something at the end). I contacted customer support (info@reliancer.com) and asked if I could purchase a replacement part for the part I mis-installed (it fell out while I was riding my bike, no idea where!) Instead, they offered to send me an entire new rack! Mind you, I was more than happy to pay for a replacement part, or even a new rack, as the now lost piece was due entirely to user error. Overall the rack seems nice enough and is much cheaper than other racks I was looking at. It's my first rack so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it has worked well for me so far, even with my mis-installation ... show more

I rolled off a 7" curb and the rack became detached from the front rods and was dragged for about 20 feet before I realized what happened. Not a good design for attaching the front of the rack to the bicycle frame and the rods should be longer because the rack is set at an odd 30° angle.

    • Back bike rack .
I bought a new electric mountain bike with 5" tires . The rack fit good the only thing I had to change was the brace that attracted to the frame the slide out bracket was to short . So I bought two pieces of metal 1/4 ×3/4 and leveled the rack and made my braces . I painted them black and they look like they were made originally for the rack . The only reason I had to make braces is because of my bike has 26x5" tires . It will fit a bike without 5" tires. It is a very good looking bike rack . ... show more
