I now have TWO of these racks. I own an e-bike that came with a sturdy rear rack and I wanted a complementary basket to hold my shopping. I ordered the small version which holds a little more than a typical grocery bag. I soon discovered that I needed a bigger version for those 'extra' big shopping trips. This rack is a beast--so well made and includes an impressive complement of accessories: lining, cargo net, rainproof cover. So I decided to keep the first one and install it later on the front, then ordered this larger (medium) rack that will hold two grocery bags. I'm really impressed with the quality and it matches my bike rear rack perfectly--same sturdy, tubular design finished in a flat black color. So, when I opened the box, I found a package of zip ties and I thought, "What are these for?" because it does not explain (I think) in the manual. Then, when installing, I realized why. This is a two-person installation because it will drive you crazy trying to keep the basket aligned while installing the hardware to secure it. That is the purpose of the zip ties: keeping it in place while you lock it down with the nuts and bolts. In the end, I am extremely satisfied with this product--I bought it twice!! Now I have a medium-large rack on the rear and another for the front. And the price is right for this quality + accessories.

I picked up this basket to carry my tools around with me for work, and so far I love the practicality. The unit feels heavier duty than I expected and feels reasonably durable. It took a few seconds to mount it to the back of my scooter, and the largest size can fit a fair bit of tools for my day to day work. I like the inner liner and was planning on using the cargo net cover, but the small tools tend to catch and snag on it so the net is much more useful for larger cargo. Overall, I'm happy with it so far and can't wait to continue to use it to putter around work with my tools in tow.

In September '24, rode the OTET trail 326 miles across Ohio. This rack carried two extra e-bike batteries and supplies. Since I had to carry two heavy batteries, I needed something strong. It worked well except for a few exceptions. Rack ------ It is very very sturdy and made well. I don't feel that it is very heavy even though it is built like a tank. Cover ------- I really like the black cover as it was easy to put on and take off but it isn't very durable. The elastic edging made it easy to take on and off but it started to tear and now I'm looking for a replacement cover. Would have paid more to have a better cover. Netting --------- The elastic netting was useful, it would hold everything tight and I could slip a water bottle or windbreaker under it. Mounting ------------ The mounting is where I had the most trouble. The metal bar that goes under the rack was too flexible and as I tightened the screws, it started to give way and I could not get it very tight. Might work better with a better bike rack. I attached a picture of their video that even shows it flexing marked with a red arrow. As a hack that worked very well, I ended up using some 200lb zip ties and they worked fantastic. I needed to take the basket off every night in order to get to my paneer so I had to replace the zip ties each night. Not ideal but the rack was secured very tight. This is probably not a solution for everyone. Overall -------- I like the rack and the paneers so much, I'm planning on doing the same on my next long ride. Important Bonus info: -------------- If the weight of the rack and contents is behind the center of the rear tire, you can get what is called the 'shake of death' where the bike doesn't stay straight and wobbles if you take your hands off the handlebars. I had two heavy batteries so I mounted this rack sideways (longer is left to right) and had the batteries closer to my seat (perpendicular to my bike) This moved the weight more forward and it removed the issue. Score ------- Sturdiness: A+ (except for mounting and cover) Weight: A ( Might be an issue for some, but fine for my needs.) Value: A Mounting: C Cover: A and D (The cover is great but not durable) Overall: B++

Love this rack. Looks/feels beefy and large enough to put lunch box, towel, and bike lock in it. I had to drill a few new holes in this crate as well as the rack on my bike so that it lined up exactly where I wanted it. I then used the included bracket where no drilling was available. I purchased from Lowe's an adhesive rubber pad that I cut in strips and placed on the bottom of this crate to keep it from rubbing on my bicycle rack itself. Works great. Looks great. Very happy. Easy to install.
