It's thick and sturdy. Feels very secure. Heavy, but not too heavy to carry in your backpack if you have a healthy back. I wish it was longer as it's hard to wrap it around the bike and a thick object like a tree as well. Nearly impossible. Have to chain it to something much thinner like a pole

I purchased the super thick heavy-duty chain to secure my Honda Ruckus . I saw a video regarding this type of chain and it’s recommended above all other types , cables ect . The smaller version of this chain took over 6 minutes to cut through with a grinder and is impenetrable by most bolt cutters . The lock on the other hand is somewhat questionable . I like that you can loop the chain through itself and it makes it more versatile . I would recommend . ... show more

This chain is a BEAST but that lock could be broken with a sledgehammer fairly easily if you can't hide it behind something. I got two to lock down my very expensive generator and I've got the locks buried so they can't be easily accessed. Other than that, this is a fantastic chain and would take some major equipment to destroy. I would def buy again ... show more

So far it's been a good chain and lock. I think just the sight of it deters would be theives. It's very durable, and good length that I can lock up to almost any bike rack or post. Really heavy but good secuity.

When I ordered this chain I was thinking I will probably return it (thank you Amazon). But this is worth every penny. ❤ my God man props to the manufacturer! I love the quality. Very strong, and very Heavy. I use it around my back tire and back fender. I am confident the tire will be ripped off and this Chain will not suffer. The lock itself, I need to research a little. There are slants in the design of the key that might make it very difficult if not impossible to bump open, but I will have a locksmith advise. Either way This is mine and your not getting it back lol. By the way all of the links have 6 sides. I'm not sure what that means, only I read a review that said the link's were round. ... show more

I seldom leave bad reviews but feel it's important here. This is crap. The body of the lock is made either from plastic or from some really cheap pot metal. I can't imagine it surviving one blow with a hammer, and the key action is sticky and unreliable. The chain is heavy, but the welding of the links is extremely crude, which leads me to think that the steel is of low quality here, too, but I can't tell for sure. A clue that I should have paid more attention to: there are other identical products sold under different names on Amazon, also very inexpensive. No matter the product, that'a usually a predictor of generic low-quality items. ... show more
