Oh my goodness, I am blown away by this building block flower stems set. I was not expecting to be this impressed. This is just beautiful and highly giftable. The box the set comes in has beautiful art of the flowers that is embossed (3D) and makes a really nice first impression. Upon opening the box, I found two instructional booklets, two plastic baggies of parts, and four loose stems. I am a little confused as to why there were four loose, unpackaged stems. Unfortunately, 2 of the stems are significantly bent in a curve. I’m not sure how much of a detriment this will be to the look of the finished flower bouquet, but I’m hoping it won’t be too bad/noticeable. I almost wanted to take off a star for that, but I won’t know how much it matters until we’ve finished building the whole set. This kit comes with two separate instructional booklets, which are incredibly detailed and contain beautiful art of finished kit flowers amongst photos of the real life flowers they are based on. Each book has I think 3 different flowers. Along with the unexpectedly gorgeous art comes an educational and interesting description about each unique flower species. The instructions are also very detailed and easy to follow so far. Wonderful kit, which will provide I’m guessing at least 1-2 hours of fun solo or family time building all of the cool flower stems. Aside from the 2 curved stems, which are probably forgivable, I am very very pleased with this kit.

Pros: + Instructions like Lego - this is important and the first thing I always look for. The instructions are step by step, so much so that there are TWO BOOKS of instructions in this thing - they did not skimp out. + Everything laid out well. This pouch is for this flower and so on. + Everything functions and goes together well for me. + It comes with a brick separator! I've never seen a kit do this, and it's so wonderful as it'll make all my other kits nicer to use as at some point, I always accidentally wind up putting pieces together wrong. + Love in this kit especially, that it's so easy to break it up into days if you want because you can work on one specific type of flower at the time (also good if you're only interested in making specific flowers in it and want to skip others). Cons: - Not sure I even feel right putting it here, but because the instructions are in a real sort of book, you do have to take the time to really break the spine on it, so it can sit flat and open as you're working, otherwise you'll keep losing your place.

I love these flower building kits, they are a lot of fun to put together and a great way to unwind after a stressful day. I have found that during my assembly time I am able to be more "present" with loved ones and in the moment. These building kits have straightforward visual guides that take you step by step in assembling each flower in the bouquet. Further, each flower comes in separate packages to make it easier to build over time rather than needing to complete all in the same day. All put together, this set looks great in a vase with other flowers (real or fake!) I recommend this for older kids or adults as it is a choking hazard. I do not recommend for adults with mobility issues or arthritis as it can hurt to put together.

I was really excited for this set. My mom really loves flowers so I’d thought I build this for her. The set comes in two parts. The pieces are a fair size where I wasn’t too worried about losing any pieces. The directions were easy to follow and until I stopped building, the first 3 flowers has all their pieces. The quality of the piece was decent. The big pieces were easy to snap together but when it came to the smaller pieces it was really frustrating:/ in the first 3 flowers, I was able to snap the smaller pieces together using some force but it does hurt after doing it a couple of times but as i was doing flower 4 I used so much force and it wouldn’t snap together so I got frustrated and stopped. I am planning on returning it. I just recently had wrist surgery and I have been building Lego and off brand versions and had been fine but this was the first where I could see someone injuring their wrist trying to snap the smaller pieces together pieces together. Again, I might’ve gotten a bad set or maybe I really am just that weak but I really feel like this should be something that doesn’t need a lot muscles to build. The picture is the page I couldn’t get the pieces together and stopped.
