I’ve been running this SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 on a Creality Ender 3 V2 (Klipper, stock motion hardware) using both 0.4mm and 0.2mm nozzles for a mix of functional and detail prints. Most of my printing was done between 205–210°C, which gave the best overall results. I did test down to 195°C with the 0.2 nozzle, but interlayer adhesion dropped off noticeably. At 205–210°C, layer bonding was significantly better than standard PLA I’ve used before. Not quite PETG-level toughness, but much closer than typical PLA. Print settings & performance: I typically run around 175 mm/s with 7500 acceleration. First layer is slowed to 20 mm/s with 0% fan, gradually ramping to full fan by layer 4–5. This setup produced very consistent results. Stringing was almost non-existent. Overhangs came out clean and crisp, and smaller bridges showed minimal sagging. Longer bridges (around 2 inches or more) did show some sag, but nothing outside expectations. Layer height & detail: Most prints were done at 0.04 layer height with a 0.12 first layer, and detail came out very sharp. I also tested 0.2 layer height, which still produced clean, crisp results without noticeable loss in quality. Bed adhesion: Using a stainless PEI build plate at around 45°C, adhesion has been phenomenal. I haven’t had a single print fail due to bed adhesion. Print quality & consistency: Surface finish is smooth with a slight gloss. Color remained consistent throughout the roll. Filament diameter stayed within about ±0.05 mm, typically measuring slightly over nominal (+0.03 to +0.05 mm). Other notes: No noticeable moisture issues so far, even without a dry box. Overall: For the price, this is one of the best PLA+ filaments I’ve used. It prints reliably at high speeds, has excellent layer adhesion at proper temps, and delivers consistent quality across different layer heights. Great option for both functional parts and detailed prints.

I’m very impressed with this SUNLU PLA+ filament. It prints smoothly with excellent layer adhesion and consistent quality throughout the entire spool. The filament feeds perfectly with no tangles or issues, and the color is clean and looks great—making it perfect for painting or finishing detailed models. I’ve used it for larger prints and detailed figures, and the results have been amazing. Great spool size, reliable performance, and an excellent value for any 3D printing enthusiast. Sunlu always makes great filament, I never have issues with printing. They are calling this beige, but I got this because it is pretty close to lets say "Caucasian " skin color. I am starting to color my prints with filament in the slicer, and this worked great for a model of my son when he was in cub scouts. PLA is pretty forgiving, but I always dry my filament before printing anyway. Great value for the money.

I've switched to SUNLU's newer PLA+ 2.0 whenever I need something stronger than standard PLA but don't want the extra hassle of printing with PETG. It's become my go-to filament for functional prints that need a little more durability. As with the other SUNLU filaments I've used, the quality is very consistent from spool to spool. The black color looks great, prints cleanly, and I've had excellent results with layer adhesion and overall print quality. I also really like SUNLU's reusable spool design, and the price is hard to beat for the quality you get. One thing to keep in mind is that PLA+ 2.0 isn't the same as regular PLA. You'll get the best results by creating or using a print profile that's tuned specifically for this material rather than using your standard PLA settings. Overall, I'd highly recommend this filament to anyone looking for a stronger alternative to PLA without moving to PETG. It offers a great balance of strength, printability, consistency, and value.

All the Sunlu filaments I have tried are good, but this one is my favorite. Prints great with basic settings and produces a smooth matte finish. Not as flat as a true matte, but just right. I print most things on this filament. The winding is always even. Never had a snag on Sunlu. The plastic spools are reusable. The price is not the cheapest, but quality usually does cost a little more.

I like to purchase SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 filament because my BambuLabs printer has a profile for it. The prints seem to print faster and I feel that are stronger than with basic PLA. I just wish that I could get this as a refill roll instead of getting the entire spool each time.

I used this filament for a mix of functional parts and decorative prints, mostly on larger prints where I wanted stronger layer adhesion than regular PLA. It printed cleanly at around 220°C with very little stringing and no clogging issues. The finish is slightly glossier than other PLA filaments, so layer lines show a bit more under bright light. Other than that, it has been reliable and easy to print. Overall, this is a solid PLA+ option if you want something a little tougher than basic PLA without needing to switch to PETG or ABS.

Sunlu always knocks it out if the park with their high quality filament! I have been using Sunlu PLA+ for years, and just recently switched over to their PLA+ 2.0. I have to say the upgrade is significantly better an worth switching to. After going through 4 rolls of 2.0 I feel confident in saying it's the best filament I have ever used! I have had ZERO print failures. Every spool has come well packaged and neatly wound. The quality of a spool right out of the box says alot about a company and Sunlu always shows they have perfected their products. Things to note after my usages on my creality k2 combo: -220°c seems to be my sweet spot and I'm able to get quality prints at 400mm/s. -Bed adhesion is fantastic! -The filament is flexible and pliable. Unlike other brands, it's not brittle. -I fully trust the dimension tolerance of the filament thickness of 1.75mm. -complete print appearance is always consistent! Nothing has been left undesirable from my point of view. Sunlu, please continue to offer this high quality on your products, and I will continue to be a forever supporter of your company! Thank you! I highly recommend Sunlu for anyone looking to switch brands or anyone just getting started. I would love to try more of their filament like PC-ABS and PEEK in the future as I am starting to get into engineering grade parts. If I do, I will make sure to give an honest review of those as well.
