Each stand is equipped with a removable locking support pin designed and dedicated to keeping you safe and increases safety by 200%. Multi-position forged iron ratchet bar has a sawtooth design, allowing for quick height adjustments that lock into place. The saddle has a large surface area that provides better contact with the load being supported. This is my second pair of these stands. My first pair were bought over 10 years ago and the new ones almost identical to the first set with similarly good quality. Sometimes quality degrades over time but not the case here. These are heavy duty and sturdy jack stands which are a good size and height for light duty trucks and SUVs that have a higher ground clearance. The ratcheting catches work well and the safety cross pin provides additional security and confidence. I'm sure you can spend more and get better but for my DIY purposes i think they are a good value. ... show more

I did some research before purchasing these. Originally considered HF and Husky. If I could find the 6 ton Husky I may have gone with those but ultimately these were a great price and seem like an excellent value. Assembly was easy, they didn’t have any messed up teeth and they adjust easily. I haven’t tested the higher end of the capacity and I don’t plan on it. However they worked fine and I felt safe holding my wife’s Cadillac. Biggest concern I have is I wish the safety pin locked in place. ... show more

The pictured truck weighs 19,122 lbs empty. Front axel weight over 7,000 lbs. The rear axel weigh over each rear axel is over 6,000 lbs. I was a little nervous putting the truck up on the stands so I left the wheels while I jumped, pushed, and climes on truck to see if they were going to hold. No issues, so I took all the wheels off and went to work. Truck is still on the stands, if I have any issues, I will update the review. ... show more

They are nice and sturdy. Can hold up a Mazda CX-5 without any issue. When they are the long stands keeping the car up, it doesn't have any wobble or anything like that. Very easy to use as well.
