This engine stand offers excellent value for the price. It's very sturdy, stable, and rolls smoothly on the steel casters, even when fully loaded. I really like it's looks a well. Just FYI, I encountered a challenge when transferring the engine from the hoist to the stand due to the wider stance of the front rail, which didn't fit between the legs of my hoist. This is a fitment issue, not a fault of the stand itself. My only complaint is the packaging. The box it was shipped in was inadequate for the weight it needed to support. The box arrived with numerous holes and tears, essentially just a flimsy outer covering by the time it reached my door. ... show more

The engine stand itself is great quality and works great! I was missing a front wheel, I contacted Amazon and asked about replacement parts. They could only offer a partial refund or for me to return the item. The customer did not have the option to send a wheel apparently. This stand is very sturdy and the casters roll nicely with an engine mounted. Added bonus is that it will fold when not in use, would purchase it again over a cheaper 3 leg version

    • Worked for my 6.0 Powerstroke rebuild
I picked this up to hold my 6.0 Powerstroke, and it did exactly what it should. It did flex a little bit when it was loaded with the ~1000 lbs, but that's probably to be expected for any stand in this category. The main complaints would be the locking pin to keep it from rotating, is a little bit loose of a fit, so the engine can rotate by a few degrees. Maybe this is a good thing to prevent the pin from getting stuck, but does not inspire confidence. The other main issue is the handle seems a little bit on the short side. I couldn't turn the engine with one head on, and another off, without using a longer handle. My full weight (~150lbs), just was not enough for the given length. Its probably fine for most engines, but if you plan on using it on a pretty heavy block, you might want a longer handle. ... show more

Not only was this item “one day” delivery (and it actually was delivered next day) but it was super easy to assemble, instructions very clear (honestly so easy to do they weren’t needed) but overall really solid materials. Even the wheels are metal so they definitely won’t be wearing out anytime soon. So far very happy, I put a LS 6.2L motor on it and had no problems spinning it too ... show more

    • Bad purchase
When the package arrived the box was broken on one side and parts were sliding out of the box. When I finally got ready to assemble the stand the instructions were more confusing than many I’ve ever seen. Once I put it together I realized I had a missing bolt to one of the mounting arms I guess in the place of my bolt missing they sent 3 small black washers that did not fit this application and I’ve been trying to find this bolt to replace the one I’m missing but can’t anywhere so far the quality seems to be stable it looks nice once put together but I’m still not happy about the missing bolt ... show more
