I had spent time researching a patio pizza oven and this one seemed to be very similar to other more expensive brands. So, until I can build the brick oven of my dreams, I decided to practice on this one. It arrived quickly and is much more substantial than I had expected! Here are the pros and cons... PROS Easy to set up Instructions were actually coherent and helpful! Heats interior to 500 degrees in about 15 minutes, stone takes a bit longer to reach 500. I can tell with practice that we will be making epic pizzas in no time. It's heaver and larger than I had expected CONS It's size makes it a bit hard to transport on camping trips... But we found a heavyduty tote that it all fit in perfectly. A handle on top of the oven might be helpful. Read the safety precautions carefully! There will be flames shooting out of the hopper, the chimney and the front of the oven when you open the door. Apparently this is normal. I wish the handle for the firebox was longer and had a rubber end. It gets hot. I also wish the hopper had a safer way to flip it open to add more pellets when flames are coming out of it. It does use pellets very quickly. I think it will take a few tries to get the rhythm of adding more at the right time. Over all... buy it! Also buy yourself a set of LONG handled peels and turners. You will burn your fingers using a short one. Also buy a surface temp gun. It helps to know when the stone is hot enough.

After using this for over a year, it’s a great pizza oven. It takes a little practice to get good at it, but the stone gets to around 1000°F and cooks pizza in a minute or two. Don’t leave it out in the weather/rain etc. Mine developed a little rust around the area where the chimney fits. Other than that the stainless steel finish and the black powder coating are flawless. My friends love coming over for outdoor pizza and it does a great job of cooking them.

Works well and definitely gets hot enough for pizza baking. Pellets give a slight wood smoke taste, but not too heavy, which is what I was looking for. it is a little heavy with the stone inside but not so much that it is hard to move around. The one con is that is does seem to burn through pellets quickly. But over all I would recommend it if you want a wood fired flavor. Mine did arrive with a small dent in the side, which did not effect the oven. Seller was quick to make it right without hesitation.
