Color: Black
I have had this chair for about 2 weeks. So far everything is good as advertised. Asdembly went well and took about 20 minutes. The only issue I have encountered so far is the seat is not quite level to the floor going side to side. The left side of the seat is a fraction lower. It is noticeable but not a major issue. The lumbar feature works very well and was what i needed. The massage function is sufficient for basic needs. The heat function seems average. Takes a while to feel the warmth. Delivery was prompt. So far I am very pleased, but it is still fresh out of the box.padding 。 thank you i like this one。 ... show more

  • Barely acceptable for me.
Color: Black
Colamy Office Chair Model 2181 Purchased 11 Feb 23, delivered 17 Feb 23, assembled 18 Feb 23 1. As many people have noted, the box came looking quite a bit the worse for wear, but the product pieces inside the box did not appear to be damaged at all. All parts were in the box. 2. Assembly was not too difficult, although I did wind up loosening the 4 bolts that hold the arms to the seat (2 on each side) and the 4 bolts that hold the back to the seat (again, 2 bolts on each side), in order get all 8 of them to tighten fully and equally. 3. Observations: a.) while the arms, seat and back are all connected tightly, the seat ROCKS LEFT AND RIGHT ON THE TOP OF THE GAS CYLINDER. It did this from the first time I sat on it. b.) The chair seat is pretty comfortable (at least now, on the first day I have used it). c.) I am 6’ 1 ¾” tall, and normally proportioned, albeit overweight at 290 lbs. At its maximum height, the seat allows me to sit with both feet flat on the floor; there is no height adjustment for me, because any lower and my knees are jutting forward. If I were an inch or more taller, this seat would not go high enough to let me sit comfortably. d.) The seat portion of the chair does lean forward slightly, although not enough to make me send it back. e.) The seat portion is just long enough (front to back) to provide support to my upper legs; if I were a couple inches taller, it would not be long enough. f.) The seat is wide enough that sitting normally does not cause my legs to rub on the arms on either side. g.) The locking mechanism to keep the seat from rocking front to back works only in the fully upright position, meaning you cannot lock it into place with the seat leaning slightly back to make up for its built-in slightly forward tilt. 4. Conclusions: I cannot speak to how well this chair will hold up to someone my size, much less approaching the 400 lb. size it claims to support; I can say without reservation that this chair is not for tall people. I can use it *ONLY* at its highest height, and while I am taller than average, I am not even (quite) 6’ 2”. Do not buy this chair for any reason if you are 6’ 3” or taller. The reviewer who said it fit him fine at a height of 6’ 8” is lying, either to us or to himself (many men do this). I have not decided if I will send it back, because it works for me at its maximum height, and if you have been looking for a chair that is actually for big and tall people for a while, you’ll know that a good one costs upwards of $500, which I don’t have to spend. Sigh. Update, Feb 22, 2023: I have attached a photo showing why, in my opinion, this chair sits so low! I had not seen this when I wrote the original review, nor have I seen it on any chair I have owned. If it gave me back just one inch (preferably more, but one inch would do), I would have a bit of height adjustment, and be more comfortable. Unfortunately, given that gas cylinders are necessarily a standard size, replacing mine won't help. I would actually need to replace the 5-point base with one that has a receiving hole a bit smaller. Also, I am more aware and more weary of the forward tilt in this chair. I realize that all these chairs have this problem built in to them because they no longer have a back plate (a supporting metal plate that connects the base of the seat to the back) -- the backs of almost all office chairs now only connect to the arms -- but I may wind up sending this one back because of it, after all. UPDATE: After being assembled and used for a week, the chair began making an ominous clunking sound when I get in or out of it. I think it is related to the wobble that was present from the first moment the chair was assembled, but all I can say for certain is that nothing obvious is loose. It is going back. All in all, I would avoid this chair, although it is likely that every company selling chairs in this price range is going exceptionally cheap on the manufacture and quality of parts. Sigh. ... show more

  • Soft to Sit In but Feels Very Durable
First the cons: its big and heavy, more than I thought it would be, but I wouldn't change it smaller, I like its size for how well it feels when in it. But do have help moving the huge box inside unless you are fit enough to move over 40 pounds in a box big enough it can hold a plus size person, or open and take piece by piece inside and the seat n back still have lots of weight by themselves. 2nd Con: there were some minor alignment issues. 1st being the left arm bottom seat holes being too close together so one of the screws seem strained and was very hard to screw in to get arm not to be wobbly...its only part I do worry the screw may one day snap due to the strain. That could be something that might need changing, more quality control to be sure holes are straight and in perfect distances. Another alignment issue is fact the tilt handle does basically nothing even after unscrewing the tension knob halfway or so, however your seat sits when first pushed down is about the tilt you get, mine is flat mostly, but I do get a sliding off the seat feeling especially when I first sit down and haven't been able to tilt it yet to change that, but having something to prop feet up on a bit helps to not have the feeling (also my plus size weight may of helped weigh the padding a bit as I sat in chair so the feeling goes away after a few minutes of sitting in it...when I get up the padding all bounces back). I decided to use the wheels that come with the chair first, before maybe one day switching to those fancy rubber rollerblade kind; and these original wheels hold the chair up with me in it so far (couple days of hours n hours use) and they roll really easily....especially on hard surface...have to be careful I don't fly back into the wall when trying to sit down...in future may get a area rug for chair to sit on so it won't fly away when I just sat down. The plus side: this chair is hands down more padded and comfortable then the over 14 year old computer chair from staples...especially now its padding is nonexistent. At this point almost any chair would be an improvement, but this chair is more comfortable than even my rocking recliner loveseat combo in the living room and seems like it has a more sturdy foam padding in it. Time will tell and I will update in future if things change. I was worried the padding for my plus size self might be too hard to be comfortable for my average sized hubby, but he too says it feels way better than the old chair and helps his lower arthritic back to not hurt when sitting in it....so its comfortable for all here :) in all I'm happy with this chair, I hope I don't have to move its location much though due to its large heavy size, rolling it does very easy, its the picking up to move around I wouldn't want to do (and in that case unscrewing the 4 screws that hold the back on, to move bottom seat wheels n handles separate from back will make that much easier). I'm also glad it did come with a few spare screws in case one breaks (though have no idea how I would clean out the other broken side so a new one would fit in). Guess the spares are good in case machines miscount number to be put in other sections. ... show more

  • The quality
I'm 55 and have had my share of maddening things that came from China with crappy directions and that loathsome Allen wrench. This.. Was NOT Like that. The directions are clear. They included a parts list. The wrench has a g.d. handle! All wrapped up nice and neat in a package. This alone made me look into the company and while this is still coming from China, this company stepped it up. It went together pretty easy. One hole was a tad troublesome on the seat with the side arm but we eventually got it. More than sturdy enough as a desk chair and my 6'1" hubby has zero issues with it. I' ... show more

  • Very nice chair
Color: Black
I weigh over 400lbs and needed a new chair. I work from home full time so a quality office chair is a necessity. I have had a few other chairs that were OK but this is the first one that I can honestly say is truly comfortable. The seat and lumbar support are better than any other chair I've used and the seat depth is great because it doesn't cut off circulation to the back of my thighs. It comes with decent enough casters. ... show more
