Do you have a hurricane fence and a nosey neighbor? If your are looking for privacy this is the answer. I would suggest however to do yourself a favor and not use the plastic zip ties which are included. They will break with the first strong wind. Installed in 1 hour in difficult muddy location. Get longer 11 inch zip ties. Wish it cam with about ten longer zip ties. The included ones are not that great in certain and rare situations. Yellow substrate bounces light into yard. Brightens up the space a lot. Not opaque but decent enough. Transmits light at night (like neighbor’s annoying year-round xmas lights and car headlights. Decent for privacy. Attenuates sound a bit too. Hope it lasts.

I was a bit worried that it would be see through when the sun is out but it gives us complete privacy no matter what! Super easy to install but like other reviews, when trying to match up the seams the holes don’t line up. I would definitely recommend getting heavy duty zip ties.

I bought 2 of the 6'X50' to wrap the poles of the exposed side of my carport. It took some doing to get them up, using sheet metal screws and washers, but the final result is great. If you are looking for privacy, doubling up and having at least 2 layers is 100% necessary. If you are just looking for some shade, and don't maide people seeing thru it, 1 would totally do it. Here's to hoping it holds up in Florida heat and afternoon storms.
