This a review for the Bialetti Impact (seems Amazon mixes reviews for different pan lines). We bought the 8, 10 and 12 inch pans. I would call our use "average" for a family of four and these pans get the vast majority of our use. I have waited 5 mo. to review because I wanted to see if these would wear out over time, and I am picky about my kitchenware. So far, the non-stick surface is still as good as new. We never use metal utensils on this pan, we always hand wash, and we never heat above med-high (if we want to sear, we use cast iron or a wok). We have used the pan for a short time under a broiler up to 450 degrees, although they recommend no more than 400. Did fine, handles stayed cool enough. Pros: True non-stick that lasts Even heating Good oil distribution over textured surface No fuss food release Easy to toss ingredients with a flip of the wrist Flat, no warping Secure (riveted), comfortable handles Comfortable weight that still feels substantial Good value Cons: Not sure why they bothered to paint the bottoms gray; it is wearing off in spots but I don't care. These are really well made pans, the ceramic finish is much superior to teflon. The package said it is safe for metal utensils, but I don't want to chance it. They clean up nicely and look sharp with the anodized gray finish.

I have been using these pots and pans for a long time. I have used them so much, and can be quite hard on them. I just finally replaced them, but only because I spent about a decade using my metal mixer in them! They're still in working condition, but I decided to get a new set for normal cooking and use the old ones for my aggressive cooking habits! They're sturdy, beautiful, and the non-stick is the best! I bought a Bialetti at Bed, Bath and Beyond several years ago, and it's the best frypan ever. So, I ordered a complete set on Amazon, and if anything, they've made the better. Really excellent coating, long lasting, good heat distribution, rather nice looking product in gray or black, comfortable handle, and very easy to clean; pretty much non-stick. Where have these pans been all my life?! I used to love my cast iron pans but they are so hard to clean and maintain and they are heavy. I have a connective tissue disorder that puts my wrists and fingers in constant pain so I thought that I was going to have to give up cooking. My mother who has arthritis recommended I try these pans that she loves and they are fantastic! They are light weight, insanely easy to clean, and produce better food than my cast iron. ... show more
