I think it's great for 1-2 people. I used to use Bialetti original mokapot, but it was rust after 3 months usage. Not sure if I did something wrong but it wasn't good to take coffee from rusty aluminum product, to buy every quarter, or to worry for rust all the time. So, I turned to 'stainless steel' pot. I feel the original moka pot gives better flavor and easier to use than stainless steel product. Even though I already had an experience with the original Moka Pot, it took days for me to make good coffee due to water temperature, amount, and so on. The upper part has poorly done solder which is very visible. When wiped with napkin, it leaves a black residue. The inside of the heater has black discoloration(2 spots).
