I was down to buying a new leaf blower or trying one more generic carburetor. I took a chance on this one based on the reviews. Put this on a Stihl BG 55 Leaf Blower - which was about 15 years old. It worked great. My only issue was the fuel line hose had a circular top gasket where the orgional fueld line had one side that was straight which fit tighter. I did have to adjust the (H) high end on the carburetor. I would recommend this. ... show more

Worked fine, had to do some adjustment for the trimmer to run properly. The fuel bulbs are cheap and the whole thing is made in china. For the price, not bad

    • Works Perfectly For A Lot Less Than An OEM Part
Works perfect on my 20+ yr old Stihl BG55. I watched a YouTube video for instructions/tips and then went out to the garage and did it. The replacement process is easy. I did NOT use anything in the kit other than the carb and gaskets, so I don't know how good the other parts are. But with the new carb, my blower fired right up with no adjustments. If the carb craps out or something, I'll edit this review, but for now it's an easy 5 stars. ... show more

My BG55 is running like new. It was difficult reconnecting the throttle. I went by a couple of YouTube videos but in hindsight I believe if I would have loosened the rear housing I could’ve made it easier. Other than that, the replacement was fairly simple.
