Installing was very easy. Unfolding the wheelchair does take some practice to get used to and requires a bit of bending down and apply force. Good if you don’t require folding the wheelchair often for transport. This wheelchair is designed for flat surfaces only. No riding on grass or sand allowed. The motors are inside the rear wheels, which is great because you don't have a spinning shaft. Less moving parts mean it can last longer. Avoid puddles of water, because you don't know how much the wheel will protect the motor from water. The Joystick controller does remember your last speed setting when you turn off the controller and back on. The battery is mounted on with two hex screws. Tools are included to replace the battery. It’s a good design to keep weight low. The manual says charging takes 3-5 hours. Overtime charging not encourage. Meaning you have to remember to unplug after charging is complete. The charger doesn't automatically maintain the battery. It does not fit inside my Toyota Yaris with a small trunk space. I had to put this wheelchair on the back seat. The joystick does beep when in reverse. This beeping noise cannot be turned off, even if you are living alone. For safety, this wheelchair will reverse slowly, even on fastest speed. I needed a wheelchair to take to work every day and go shopping. This wheelchair wasn't suitable for me because of the difficulty loading onto my car back seat, and it would beep at work. For the price of $1000, this wheelchair definitely deserves a 5-star rating. The issue that I have with this wheelchair doesn’t apply to everyone. I have returned the wheelchair and the seller refunded me.

This wheelchair is light and compact. It’s the best one we have bought so far. No problems at all and arrived quickly.

I just received this merchandise and was excited. We charged the battery and end up being defective. It will not charge and there was no instructions included. Called Amazon customer service and dealt with unprofessional customer service who had the audacity to disconnect the call.

I am a nurse and I was looking for a small lightweight and very portable electric scooter for one of my clients. I am 5’4 and 61yrs old and not very strong. I needed to be able to be able to fit it in my car while taking the client to appts. This fits the bill. It folds very easily and is about forty pounds. It is not as powerful as a larger scooter but it does the job. My client is about 230#. I think the chair’s max is 250? On hard surface floors it has all the power he needs, but on carpet, he cannot turn tight corners. You can learn how to overcome that by pre-planning your turn and getting the wheels at the right angle before you enter the turn. The person can also use their feet to push and help with the turn (if they have that ability). The chair is light enough it can be turned that way if needed. The other thing I like is it is light enough that I can turn the power off and push it like a wheelchair very easily. The benefit to this is I can assist my client in tight spaces and my client can use it like a walker (to exercise leg strength) until he gets tired at which time he can sit down and still get to where he wants to go.

This product is so well made, comfortable, easy to assemble and maneuver. The only difficulty was figuring out the wiring connection to the battery. Well worth the cost and folds up to fit into car’s trunk. At 47 pounds, it does take two of us to lift into trunk but that is just a minor problem. I cannot lift it by myself due to a muscle disease but it is the best for portability and usage.

I have just received this. Straight out of box I really like it. Will use it in a couple of days outside of my house. Easy setup. Easy to maneuver. Comfortable. Small but I like that. Fairly quick delivery. Will update on durability. Update: I have used this several times. I love it. Easy to load. Folds easy. Given me such freedom. Small compact. Will update as I go forward. So far I really like this.

My wife and I bought this chair for my mother who is 85 years old. My father says she does like the chair but the indicator lights on chair do not illuminate indicating a full charge or an empty charge. So at this time in the process of becoming more familiar with the charge life of the chair it limits the preferred distance. I will be investigating this esue further. My parents live in NC. And we are in GA. Other than that we are hoping My parents will learn how to compromise. Thanks

This product was bought for my mom who has severe neuropathy and having difficulty using a walker even in the house any longer. This chair is very streamline. She still needs practice maneuvering but it has been a true gift. Lots of power except for a minor slow down going from the carpet into kitchen floor or vice versa. A little lift that she just has to practice. Power needs to be increased when using on carpet versus wood floors. She also says its very comfortable.
