The media could not be loaded. I was very happy with this purchase. It came quickly, was a very easy installation and worked perfectly.. for a few months. Then the right side of the screen went dim and then it started glitching continuously. I took the unit completely out, made sure all connections were free from dust and then reconnected the unit making sure the connections weren’t loose. It still continues to glitch. I sent a message with pictures to the seller hoping to get a replacement since it only worked for 3 months. I will update this review once I hear back from them. The first pictures were of it when it worked then you can see the right side of the screen went dim and the video is of the glitching. Update: I contacted the company about the screen and they sent me a replacement screen that arrived in 7 days! I’m very satisfied with their customer service and the new screen! ... show more

I have a 2011 Ford Edge that I love but hated the Sync 2 because it was slow & clunky and I have wanted Apple CarPlay since it came out. I watched the install video several times while waiting for my Sync 3 unit to arrive. Everything was packed nicely and arrived safe 9 days after I ordered. It took me 1 hour & 15 minutes to install by myself. Everything works so far, programming was perfect. I can use the Sync 3 navigation or if using CarPlay, I can use Google Maps or Apple Maps. Sync 3 is a life changer! LOVE this unit!! I posted pics of all the different screens with & without carplay. Edited the navigation map for privacy. ... show more

Everything was relatively easy to install and works straight out of the box once everything is in place. No programming on the user and necessary, can't argue with the price either. Word of advice: If you're like me and you're installing it on a 2014 Focus, make sure to remove the back of the armrest to have clear access of the media hub for the USB module. ... show more

The Sync 2 stereo module on my 2011 Ford Edge burnt out a year ago and I hesitated to replace it because every option was expensive. The Sync 3 upgrades were priced at more than $1,500 and the Ford dealership wanted more than $1,000 to just replace the Sync 2! I was so happy to find this product. It's fairly priced, arrived quickly and only took me about an hour to install. If you can use a screwdriver, you can do this. I purchased the kit for Apple Car Play capability. Kit was complete and easy to install; about 45 minutes. Directions were limited but you tube had several install videos. Installed on my 2014 F-350 Platinum crew cab. All features including heated steering wheel were pre-programmed and work flawlessly. After initial purchase, vendor sent an e-mail requesting VIN. The head unit arrived a week later. The unit is now 4 weeks old...still work as advertised. ... show more

Everything you need including the tools to remove the old unit and install the new one—this was a much welcomed bonus! I didn’t see a need for the gloves. They were just some kind of winter gloves. I also didn’t use the screen protector. Either way, great product and the packaging was superb.
