I mainly bought the scooter for vacation. I love to hike & take walks to soak in lots of nature, but I had a terrible accident last year and lost some use in my arm & walk with a cane. I wasn't ready for a motorized wheelchair & this scooter has been a God send for my mobility. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains & we found quite a few trails that were paved & I felt like I had this freedom of movement while scooting around. The scooter was very well packaged & my husband helped me put it together with little trouble. I bought the bright color so I could be visible to others & used the headlight around sunset. Everything is practically perfect about this scooter. It holds a charge for a long time, but I don't think I've rode it more than 5-6 miles at any one time. It's lightweight, but sturdy. I now ride it around my neighborhood, local parks & along the waterfront. I attached a clam shell type case to the handle bars for my phone/keys, a water bottle holder & a cable lock. If I had to say something negative about the scooter, I'd say the seat is not that comfortable for longer rides & it doesn't have the power to make it up hills. When I see a hill coming up, I try to go faster to get more momentum to get to the top. It goes up the hill very slow & sometimes to the point where you are using your feet to get the rest of the way there. But the scooter still deserves a 5 in my opinion. Also, I shopped both Beston & Phantomgogo. I think the scooters are the same from both places. I have the logo from phantom but purchased it from Beston. The photo on the Beston site shows a more yellow scooter. I like the color better than the photo which is more of a neon lime yellow. ... show more

At 67 was very uncomfortable when I first got on it. I drove a Motorcycle for over 25 years until I got hit by a car. I then went off a sidewalk with a bicycle the wrong way and broke a leg. Very nervous about another 2 wheel vehicle after 17 plus years. I pulled through and successfully road it without injury. After 7 homes purchased in the past due to 20 years service and after retirement I moved into an apartment complex. Although I have not hit the max speed yet it will work great for getting me around the complex to pick up mail and take trash to the dumpster instead of using my Jeep. Being disabled won’t take far because if I have a problem would not be able to walk it home. Packaging was excellent with no damage; easy to set up for use and very smooth on the road. I would purchase this item again. UPDATE: Love it. I’m now 68 and works great. Charging Lasts a very long time. Still a very smooth ride and have no problems with this item. I use it at least 3 times per week between picking up mail or taking out trash. Basket has no problem fitting a 13 gallon kitchen trash bag and I use a store recycling grocery bag for my mail. I would take it to grocery store but only use it around the complex due to narrow roads and lack of sidewalks. For me an excellent choice I made in this purchase. ... show more

    • Scooter just stopped working

We bought this scooter in January and all was wonderful. We didn't really use the scooter until March when we went on a trip. Then after about a week, it totally died, even when fully charged. We tried to call products customer service, and after 4 days we are waiting for the callback. In the mean time I found a number for Amazon customer service regarding the product. After explaining everything going on and asking about how to get it fixed, we were told that it was out of refund time period and they were going to give us product customer service number. I advised this was totally useless and Amazon said they would issue a refund for product. Amazon didn't tell us we were to ship it back and had to box it back up. We don't keep very large boxes just sitting around the house for 2 months, so we didn't have a box to put it in. I called Amazon and they said "too bad, we would have to buy a box". First, they don't advise they require the scooter to be returned and secondly I have to find a very large box immediately, because UPS is on the way to pick it up. We pieced together some boxes, used tons of duck tape and got the scooter ready for pickup. UPS picked up and we're waiting for refund. Not really pleased with Amazon customer service, not very pleased with product customer service and for an item guaranteed for a year, it seemed to be something they don't like to handle. All in all, save yourself some time, expense and frustration, don't buy this scooter!!!!!! ... show more

So i have had this for just under a year and the battery will no longer charge. And so far I'm not seeing that I can order a replacement. I got this for my short trip to work and back and only used for a few months last year before the weather turned. Now I can't use it at all.

We bought 2 of these scooters, one worked fine the others battery wouldn't charge up. Too late for a return or customer service. After many frustrating attempts to contact the company, we were lucky enough to live within driving distance to their shop. I looked for cheap... what I got was inexpensive. I did not think I'd be driving this as much as I do! Yes... a suspension upgrade would be nice. A little MORE power would be nice.
