The first unit didn't work correctly and I sent it back and the second unit also would not work with the HDMI ARC cable which was what I really wanted so I could use my main remote, but no sound would come out. Also tried it with USB and still no sound, and Bluetooth never was able to sync up. Only the fiber audio cable would work, and my set is a year old Sony Bravia. The audio cable meant I had to use the somewhat flimsy remote that came with the soundbar. I have some hearing loss so I was pleased that this could produce a good volume and it sounded better than the built in speakers. Now I am keeping this all in perspective as this shouldn't be considered a real home theater setup, just some extra speakers which created more overall presence than the TV speakers. The bass increase is not very substantial, but it has 3 modes on the remote and the Dialog mode really improved voices, especially in situations like when there would be music or other sounds going on during dialog. Because it is connected via the optical audio, I am still able to have the TV speakers on at the same time, and through plying around with settings and levels on both the soundbar and the TV, I have been able to hit a "sweet spot" where it is clearer and fills the room better without needing it to be set on a very high volume. It has made watching everything better, though this is also taking into consideration the true capabilities of this soundbar teamed with my adjusted expectations of what to expect. If you are hoping to get a genuine home theater experience then that's not realistic for a $50 soundbar. I've had it for almost a week and will keep it because it has improved the overall sound and improved the dialog, but if you want to get some solid bass and speakers with much better frequency range then you will need to move up quite a bit for something capable of providing a more true Home Theater performance. ... show more

Good value. Would of given 5 stars but had to return the first one when the HDMI connection didn't work properly. Price was great with lightning sale. Sound is really good for a single sound bar (none of the sound bars without a separate woofer have much bass). To their credit the replacement came quickly and is working fine. Had an older version that did not have the ARC HDMI connection. After 2 years a buzzing noise appeared regardless of source. The buzz was there in all modes. Bestisan customer service came to my rescue and offered a discount off a new unit. The new unit also has the optical connection but using the ARC allows for the best connection and will turn the speaker off when the TV is turned off. And then come on when TV is turned on. Listen, I read 74,976 reviews just trying to find a soundbar that would allow my projector to be loud enough outside in the yard to hear it! Y'all go hard on these devices. If you ain't trying to find the holy grail of soundbars or you ain't trying to turn your living quarters into a second income by movie theater-ing it out, this is the soundbar for you. We live by a busy road and watch movies in our front yard and this soundbar does the trick. After owning one other Bestian soundbar for a while now and being totally satisfied, I was curious to see how this one would differ. I was not disappointed, rather I was pleasantly surprised that this one, which is a little bit smaller, sounds better. It really has a very high quality sound and instead of using it as a soundbar for a tv I have decided to mount it in the other side of the home for use with Bluetooth for music while working and cooking. Plenty loud enough for most of the house to hear it well, and it sounds great turned all the way up also. Easy to mount on the wall. The only reason I am making this 4 out of 5 stars is that what would make this or a similar speaker perfect would be an aux output to consider using with a powered subwoofer for a total package. ... show more
