I really like 2 channel speaker system and I've had active speaker in the $100 price range that sounded good enough. but the sound an these is terrible I tried adjusting the tone controls , towing the speakers in and out , away from the wall close to the wall it didn't mater the mids did not exist and the highs were distorted with no separation. it had a bit of bass for but not much even if it did it still would sound bad. this was supposed to be a gift for my teen daughter but even my tone deaf wife could tell these speakers sounded bad. it might seem like I'm being harsh but I'm just being honest ... show more

    • Great sound quality with a little assistance.
Hooked these up to PC and accompanied with FxSound from microsoft store and they sound pretty good. Haven't turned them up but just from a slight volume elevation they seem like they will be adequate at least sitting in front of PC. These with the FxSound app have a much better sound quality that can be fine tuned and adjusted to suit personal preference. Hopefully they are durable. They do sound nice when accompanied with an equalizer at an average to moderately loud volume level. Good for only $62 but I wasn't willing to pay $200 + for high output active bookshelf speakers either. The woofers have unnoticeable excursion. These are good for the price. If you want REALLY LOUD then I'd say dig in your wallet a bit more but if you are more on a budget then I'd say these will suffice. So far they are definitely worth it. ... show more
