The color is beautiful and the fabric is actually really nice. The phone camera really does not capture how nice this color is. Looks like it will be fairly sturdy. The sofa ships in two separate boxes, however, and I very unfortunately received two of the same box. Both are box 2/2 so I have only the backrest and a few trim bits, no legs or seat or any hardware. I wasn't paying attention when they arrived and just opened both boxes up. Contacted customer service and they are sending a replacement, but I will have to call and schedule a pickup for the boxes I'm returning. Incredibly stressful because I have family coming, my house is very small and I now have two very large boxes in my living room instead of a sofa until a replacement is sent. Update: Finally received the rest of the sofa and it's beautiful! Went together very easily. The parts all just lock into place without a ton of screws. The finished product looks nice and is just right for the space. My only complaint is with the batting. It's all just a little too long for the covers - especially the cylindrical ones - so the pillows are lumpy after stuffing them. I may re-fill them with something softer. Overall very happy with the product and the price. Now to see if I can get a pickup for the extra box... ... show more

First, I'll say that this is a very pretty sofa. The velvet is high quality, short napped, but soft. Very good stuffing on the back, and the cushions are firm and thick. I anticipate that the stuffing will wear well. It's not uncomfortable for a firm sofa, and I don't feel any springs or cardboard. Feels like real furniture. The color descriptions aren't quite accurate, if you are picky about colors. They are all very pretty, high end colors, vibrant, but may not be what you expect based on the name. I've also discovered that it is difficult to photograph velvet, as it appears much lighter in the photos, I suppose because of the nap. And because this velvet has a bit of light reflectiveness, as a high quality. The "Green" is much deeper than appears in the photos, and is an emerald or forest green. The "Navy Blue" I would call a Sapphire, or maybe Prussian Blue (leaning toward teal, a touch of green rather than purple). I haven't seen the Peacock color in person. The assembly is not difficult, but you need two sets of hands. And everything fits tight, so get each step right along the way. The sofa is not heavy, so it doesn't feel totally solid - kids jumping on the sofa not a good idea. Overall though, I am very pleased, and it's a beautiful piece for a very reasonable price. ... show more

Definitely great value for the price, beautiful fabric. The color is definitely on the yellow side which I was hoping for a bit more brown, but yellow is my favorite color so no love lost there. Sofa is small scale so works perfectly for my home office. Feels sturdy though I think I’ll replace the legs which don’t feel as sturdy as I’d like. It does sit pretty low for my 6’5” husband. Lost a star because it was a pain to put together, pieces were not labeled and I ended up with extra pieces at the end, support pieces in step one were hiding inside the backrest which they don’t tell you until step 4!? Other than that, great little sofa with a ton of character! ... show more

I thought the velvet would be a little more plush...more like velvet vs almost suede sort of texture. So I was disappointed in that regard. However, color is spot on. Two person assembly less than 30 minutes, and mine came with TWO EXTRA square pillows in addition to the 2 round bolster pillows! Not sure if that's a fluke or new and not noted in the description, but I was pleasantly surprised. It also comes in so many colors! For the cost, size, amount of weight it will hold, and ease of getting it in place (vs a pre-assembled sofa from store having to lug that big thing home), I'm HAPPY with purchase and would recommend! ... show more

So pretty and the sturdy. The fabric is soft and thick quality. The buttons are sewn on well and the legs sturdy. It’s gorgeous and actually very comfortable to the point where I love sleeping on it more than in my bed. It was pretty easy to put together as well. A couple pieces came chipped (wooden legs) and the company just sent me a whole second sofa and told me to keep the first one. Seemed like overkill but great customer service. We replaced the chipped parts and put everything else in storage. Whenever this sofa is ruined by our cats (let’s face it, they’ll claw it eventually) we’ll have a replacement. Best customer service I’ve seen ever and my favorite sofa I’ve ever bought! Can’t recommend enough! Buy it now if you’ve been debating it ... show more

Do not buy. It is designed poorly and there is no customer service contact information listed on the installation manual. So, forget it if something goes wrong during installation and you end up having a question. In my case, for example, the product was shipped to me without some key pieces. It was a challenge figuring out how to get help, which was not a straight forward process. What a nightmare! I ended up having to take a refund. I don't know why products of this poor quality and poor customer service are sold on this platform. Save yourself a lot of headaches by avoiding this one. ... show more

This is not velvet like you might think it is. I ordered the ginger color, it's kind of like a golden orange. The material is soft and overall comfortable I am not sure how well the fabric will hold up but hopefully it will surprise me. It didn't take too long to put together although the instructions aren't great. The pieces are labeled on the boxes but not the actual pieces of furniture. I received box 2 of 2 first.. and had no idea the other piece was coming on a different date. The purchase was marked delivered so I had contacted Amazon who told me they had 48 hrs to get back to me. So I had a half a couch just sitting in my hallway for a day and a half. Luckily the other half showed up the next day, but communication about this would have been nice. Overall I am happy with the couch it has a nice retro look which is totally my style. ... show more
