Yes, I am still in love with this sofa, color has stayed the same, softness the same, and still looks as it did 3 years ago. But I must admit that it is not used daily.!!! *** ORIGINAL REVIEW April 2, 2024 *** I bought this couch In Sep 2022 so I have had it for one and a half years now. I still love it.!!! Yes, you get what you pay for and you have to put it together yourself (but it is very simple to ensemble). This couch is not used daily, but we do seat in it once in a while, it's comfy and I have actually taken a nap in it a couple times, the depth is perfect and seats 3 people perfectly. I just noticed that this is on sale and has a $30 dollars coupon so at $399.99 I would most definitely buy it. We paid $573.00, and I would 100% buy it again at that price. Yes, the small round pillows are "hiding" inside the couch, and thank God I read comments, because I can see myself complaining about not getting the pillows lol So make sure you read comments and the instructions. The velvet is on the thin side and you can see marks if you press your hand or brush it, but it fits our needs. Besides, we have to remember that we are not buying a heirloom piece here, and therefore we can't hold it on that standard. I think that overall it is a great couch. I am not sure how it would home under heavy use, but with light use it is excellent.!! Oh and Ginger color is my new favorite color.!!!

Beautiful piece for a reasonable price

First, I'll say that this is a very pretty sofa. The velvet is high quality, short napped, but soft. Very good stuffing on the back, and the cushions are firm and thick. I anticipate that the stuffing will wear well. It's not uncomfortable for a firm sofa, and I don't feel any springs or cardboard. Feels like real furniture. The color descriptions aren't quite accurate, if you are picky about colors. They are all very pretty, high end colors, vibrant, but may not be what you expect based on the name. I've also discovered that it is difficult to photograph velvet, as it appears much lighter in the photos, I suppose because of the nap. And because this velvet has a bit of light reflectiveness, as a high quality. The "Green" is much deeper than appears in the photos, and is an emerald or forest green. The "Navy Blue" I would call a Sapphire, or maybe Prussian Blue (leaning toward teal, a touch of green rather than purple). I haven't seen the Peacock color in person. The assembly is not difficult, but you need two sets of hands. And everything fits tight, so get each step right along the way. The sofa is not heavy, so it doesn't feel totally solid - kids jumping on the sofa not a good idea. Overall though, I am very pleased, and it's a beautiful piece for a very reasonable price.

Very happy with it! It arrived by UPS in one huge box, which thankfully wasn't damaged. The sofa comes disassembled and the parts were very neatly packed (see photo). The two bolster pillows aren't hidden anymore (per other reviews), it seems the manufacturer has listened and they got rid of the zipper pockets that were hiding the pillows, you can't miss them now. Unfortunately instructions for the smaller loveseat came with my full-sized sofa, but I was able to figure it out without much trouble, it's extremely basic assembly and I was able to do it without the help of a second person, took me 20 minutes including taking some photos along the way. Hint -- if you're trying to fit the pieces together by yourself, do it with the sofa on its back instead of right-side up. This is _not_ a living room sofa, I got this for my home office. It sits a little lower and overall it's smaller than a full-size plush couch, but could serve well in an apartment if space is limited. Also the back is low, and rather stiff -- if you're someone that likes to _fall_ into a couch instead of sitting down like a regular human person, you would probably hurt yourself with this one. The fabric is really nice! lush velvety feel and nice rich color, though I expect it to fade over the next year or so. I thought I'd be getting two really dinky little bolster pillows but was pleasantly surprised, they're larger than I expected. The two broad seat cushions are firm but good quality, with springs inside. I put the cushions on the floor and walked all over them for a few minutes to help "break them in" a little, I think it helped soften them a smidge. Buying furniture sight-unseen was a risk that could have easily gone wrong in a few ways but I think I lucked out this time, very happy with my new sofa!

No Regrets Purchasing!

I thought the velvet would be a little more plush...more like velvet vs almost suede sort of texture. So I was disappointed in that regard. However, color is spot on. Two person assembly less than 30 minutes, and mine came with TWO EXTRA square pillows in addition to the 2 round bolster pillows! Not sure if that's a fluke or new and not noted in the description, but I was pleasantly surprised. It also comes in so many colors! For the cost, size, amount of weight it will hold, and ease of getting it in place (vs a pre-assembled sofa from store having to lug that big thing home), I'm HAPPY with purchase and would recommend!

I struggled to find a highly rated sofa until I found this one. I had a budget of $400 for a sofa but I ended up going over because I liked this one. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but I am very happy with it. The velvet is soft, the cushions are soft but firm, and the sofa is sturdy. I have it on my rug so it stays put. The assembly absolutely requires two people. I have put together many things by myself that require two people but this one I couldn't do by myself. The left arm has two holes to secure the base but the bottom hole is drilled incorrectly. I have contacted the seller and will update if they respond. **********Edit (10/02/22) The seller was responsive and sent me a new arm-rest within two weeks. I've been using the couch for 2 months now and it's comfy and sturdy. It does make a few creaking sounds here and there if you try to lounge/sleep on the sofa. Will try to update in a year or so.

Beautiful but low quality

I purchased this couch just a few months ago, but I've waited to write a review. I wanted to see how the couch holds up the everyday use and see what the quality of the couch is like. GOOD: The couch is easy to assemble and despite the box arriving damaged, the couch was packaged well enough to avoid damage. It was easy to put together. The fabric is a nice quality and is easy to keep clean. The overall style of the couch is quite beautiful and it fits into my space perfectly. This will be easy to take apart and transport/store. It is lightweight. I was able to put this together by myself in about 20 minutes. BAD: After just a few months, the cushions are starting to show indentation and wear. I am 170 lb male and I am not rough with the couch at all. The cushions are not very comfortable. You can feel the springs, you can feel the center bar that stabilizes the frame, etc. With heavy use, kids, pets, etc. these certainly wouldn't hold up. One of the buttons has already come off of it. The stitching around the arms of the couch are not done very well and show stress, which is odd because they're hardly used. When you shift your weight of the couch, it can creek, you can feel the spring move, or you can hear the foam underneath of the fabric make a noise. Overall, it looks great, but feels quite cheap once it's put together. For the price, I had hoped that this would hold up for at least a year but it's showing wear and tear after just a few months of being used a few hours each day. It isn't very roomy/designed for laying on. So if you like to veg out, this wouldn't be the couch for you. I'm 5'10" and I can't lay down all the way despite going with the larger sized couch. If this couch were perhaps 10" longer, it would be much more comfortable. The pillows included are decorative and were zipped into bottom section of the couch. They aren't comfortable, so I swapped them out for regular throw pillows. They brighten the couch up and make it feel a lot more luxe than it would be on its own. The bar in the middle is uncomfortable but necessary. It does stabilize the couch but it's uncomfortable to lay on or across, despite the cushions covering it. If you have three people sit on this, the person in the middle would be terribly uncomfortable. If you're looking for a couch that will hold up to daily/heavy use, keep looking. It's best for a formal living room or a space that isn't used for a long time or used heavily. It's easy to put together but the overall quality of the frame and the materials is a little on the cheap side. I'd expect a bit more given the price point. Overall it isn't bad, provides a great look and feel to my space, and will work while I save for a better couch.

I must say- I was a little worried I couldn’t find the parts- well they are hidden under the sofa- you pull back the backing and it velcros in place- all the parts are there!! I put together in 30 mins! I use this in my office and bridal suite so it gets used almost daily and has held up well after 6 months!

Issues putting couch together

Putting the couch together was not too difficult, however, it appears the holes for two screws necessary to put the base of the couch together was never made. I’m assuming this was a manufacturing error. I had to use an electric drill to screw the nails in which barely made it through because it feels like heavy metal towards the bottom of the armrest. After struggling with the nails I was able to proceed with putting the remaining pieces together. It’s a beautiful couch and firm but comfy. Just beware of potential manufacturing defects. Update to initial review, I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars due to the amazing service received from the sellers. After submitting my review the sellers contacted me issuing a full refund and sent a new couch with a complementary pillow. This is by far the best service I have ever received. I would recommend this couch to anyone and it’s sooooo cute, easy to assemble and comfortable!!!
