This device is just what the gardener needs to save his/her joints. It is very sturdy, easy to open and close, easy to transport (not particularly heavy), and takes the strain off the back, hands, and knees when having to kneel to plant something or do other yard work that requires being at ground level. For me, it facilitates my being able to get back up off the ground more easily. I normally use it as a kneeler, but it doubles as a seat which also comes in handy. I had one for years, but gave it to my daughter to use, so I got myself a new one. Two of the best purchases I've made.

Love this seat/kneeler. Comes assembled and contains good instructions on how to use. Just open the supports on both sides to use as a seat or turn upside down to use as a kneeler. To put it away, just push the little bar on the inside to fold the sides up. That's all there is to it. A great help for me in the garden and outdoor work. Good product and would make a great gift for someone who needs help in the garden or outdoors. Definitely would purchase again.

I bought this for my 81 yr old father who was having trouble getting up from kneeling positions in his garden. He absolutely loves it. It makes it much easier for him to get up and down. He does not like the seat position as he says it feels too unsteady. I personally tried unfolding and folding, the seated and the kneeling positions. To me everything worked easily and was sturdy although I agree with Dad that the seated position doesn’t feel as sturdy as kneeling position. All in all, I would definitely purchase again and recommend.

I only gave this a 4, because it’s hard to fold. My hands are small and thumbs aren’t strong anymore. For an older person, it needs to be easier to fold. Otherwise it’s sturdy and I really find it nice to kneel and weed or turn it over and sit. The pockets are nice, but not really something I’ll use much. The gloves that came with it are nice and useful. I haven’t had it long, so time will tell if it’s durable. I’m not a big person, so I think it will be. I do love it!

This will make gardening much more pleasant for my aging back. Bonus knee pads very soft but also supporting. I spend alot of time around flower beds weeding and deadheading so this bench will allow me to sit for a minute and go to standing position with strong arms to use while going from sitting position to standing. Planting the vegetable garden is something im looking forward to this year instead of dreading. Its is easy to fold up after im done for the day.

Purchased for my wifes birthday. She is an avid gardener/ourdoors woman. She really likes it! Upon opening, we inventoried the items and everything was there. The brace/seat was fairly easy to open. Closing took slightly more effort, but we figure with use it will be easier. This is not to say it was hard, just a bit more effort than opening. Probably a good thing in retrospect as you definitely don't want it folding up while you are using it. Another use that we found is using it to get down in the kitchen to see into lower cabinets, and being able to get back up easier. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone that likes to get down to ground level.
