I have twice used this paddle to kayak down the Colorado, from Glen Canyon, through Horseshoe Bend, down to Lee's Ferry. At first look they are very beautiful and a perfect match for my Tamarack Pro Fishing Kayak and that's what I wanted. They go together easy, light weight, feels strong. There are some small bubbles in one of the decal sides that concerns me some but hopefully that won't cause cracking or peeling and the drip rings are very thin and not sturdy at all but I'll put my old ones from my cheap paddle because they are far more superior. If I have any issues, you'll hear back from me but until then, I'm excited to give them a try. They even included a strap that I wasn't expecting. ... show more

This is a really nice paddle for the money. Works great! Light weight, stiff blades and looks great. It was a far better paddling experience in comparison to my old aluminum and plastic blade paddle

In the past I have always just used a cheap paddle from a box store and they seemed to get me by. I purchased this paddle based on an online review and I was impressed. This paddle makes a difference when it comes to still water paddling across the lake and it is super light weight. After a full year of extensive use, in all sorts of conditions, these paddles held up great! They did eventually crack during a session, but after a quick email to Best Marine & Outdoors, they were quick to send a replacement without any concerns! Even with the eventual crack, this was one of the better paddles I ever used, and I can't recommend them enough! 5 out of 5! ... show more

When I took this out of the box, I had to dampen the join to get the parts to fit together. Yes!!! No rattle!!! Can't tell you how many I tried and returned because the ferrules were floppy and sloppy. I recently retired from sea kayaking where I needed shorter paddles for challenging conditions.
