I was going to buy the MUCH more expensive version of this exact product but after thinking about it I decided to take a chance and go for this filing cabinet in brown. I actually purchased two of them. I love the look of these filing cabinets as they look like high end storage pieces. I stacked them, one on top of the other. I have chosen NOT to apply the wheels. The product comes with the wheels and instructions on the easy application and the tools necessary to put them on. It seems pretty straight forward (unscrew the little rubber feet and screw & tighten the wheels into place). They hold my hanging files easily and the metal frame for the files are very secure. I like the little leather straps on the lid that secure into the leather flap on the front. It looks very neat. For the money, these are a real bargain and I'm so glad I picked these. At first, I thought I received the wrong product because of the rubber tips on the ends of the "feet." Surprise. These files are versatile as they can be stationary or used with wheels for the rolling feature. Two of the wheels have locks on them to prevent the file from unwanted "run aways." (The user can decide where to place the wheels with locks. PHOTO: I placed mine in the front.) The wheels were super easy to install, and the locking wheels are easy to lock/unlock; the nifty wrench tool that comes with the rolling feet made removing the rubber tips a lot easier than trying to get the tips off by hand. Once I got the hang of using the wrench, the process was quick and easy. I love the look of these--natural--and they slide and are stored neatly under my desk (PHOTO). The hanging file folders hang and slide ok-- if they were coated, I think they would slide even better, but they are not. The only negative is there was a strong, somewhat musty "natural fiber" (?) odor to them after first unboxing and installing, but the smell has dissipated considerably over a day's time. (I had a room freshener plugged in initially, but I don't really need it anymore to mask the odor.) I replaced my two mismatched metal file cabinets with these (x 4--one for each drawer), and I'm very pleased with the results. Thank you. ... show more

Very attractive, very useful baskets. I bought several to use under a bench to toss in miscellaneous items. They roll easily, even on carpet. Putting the wheels on was a breeze. I liked all three colors that were available, but went with the medium and I find the color very pretty. nice well made basket. Much sturdier than I expected. The Hinge section is very discrete looking. Like others have reported attaching the wheels with the provided tool was an irritating process. If I had, had a better tool it would have been quick and simple. I do like that I have the option to use the wheels or allow it to be a stationary piece. I was surprised how much it holds. It is very sturdy and nice looking. Well worth the money. You have to put the rollers on yourself. The tool they included to put on the rollers didn’t fit really well. I had to use a tool in my tool box. But once on the rollers didn’t fall off as they were screwed in.

Received it today. I found it very easy to put the casters on, appears sturdy but time will tell, it did not have a strong odor and was the color I expected. It does not lock, but that’s not a priority for me. Love the roominess and functionality inside. Seems sturdy even after fully loaded. It’s heavy when all the files are inside, but the handles allow you to use two people to lift it if needed. If it’s still in good shape after six months, I’m going to buy another. ... show more
