This thing is sturdy as all get out! My six foot eight 350lbs plus son sat on it and it didn’t budge. It was easy to assemble, it did take a while (45 mins) and I’m not sure why they included an Hex/Allen Key that didn’t fit anything but I was able tighten everything with the little wrench included. Tip the hardware needed to assemble the feet is in one plastic bag and the hardware to assemble the back and arms are in another, you’re welcome. Is this thing comfortable? Let’s just say there won’t be any napping on this thing but you can sit for a bit to rest or catch your breath. It’s cute and study! Buy it if ease to assemble, looks and sturdiness are your end game.

This is the perfect one "person, a book and a cuppa" bench, or for an adult and a child, or even 2 thin adults. I assembled it without my husband's help, and it took me about an hour. It WAS missing one washer (I carefully laid out and counted all the pieces before starting, as well as reading the directions). The illustrations aren't very clear for a person unfamiliar with assembly, but my husband understood the correct order of the nuts and washers and advised me. Looks nice on my porch. Love the design although It's not all that comfortable to sit on. If you buy I suggest getting a pad or use it just for decoration. It's small so only one adult would fit, and maybe a small child.

It was easy for my hubby to assemble. It's not really comfortable nor sturdy for my liking but it's cute. I'm having a hard time getting cushions for the chairs and the bench due to how small the dimensions are 12".....you need to get them custom made.

This bench is super pretty and more comfortable than I expected. The first bench that came had a crack on the seat part. Not big, but since it was in the seat area I was concerned it would pull clothing or weaken quickly. I called customer service and they were very helpful and sent a replacement.
