Not cast iron as described. Extremely light-weight. Not very sturdy. I think the two tiny arm rest might be mixed iron but the back, seat, and legs are thin. That's probably how they can say "cast-iron" because a small part of the bench might have iron in it but I am not even sure about that. It looks cheap and is cheaply made for it to be 89 bucks. Disappointed by just about everything to do with this bench. WAY TOO MUCH BADLY BRUSHED GREEN PAINT ON IT. Too much is covered by green paint and I thought it would look like the pic. I will say the design is nice and that is the ONLY reason I am keeping it. Time to break out some black paint! Only way I'll keep it is to paint over the green.

the back and all 4 legs were scratched and 2 had red paint scrapes, back of bench was not drilled so it could not be put together and there were nuts and washers missing

I give it three stars because it is so cute. My husband and I weigh less than 140 and when I sit on it, it gives. Also, we are small and take up the whole bench. Perfect for us, but not for others. Our first one showed up without the arms. Our replacement arrived very quickly, but showed up without the hardware. We robbed the first box to make a complete bench. I really want more of these, but I don't want the hassle of returning incomplete products.

I bought this to put out by the fish pond for occasional use. It’s very pretty. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble though you do have to lie on the ground at the end to tighten all the bolts. There is a slight variation in how the parts fit together, but I put the bolts in loosely initially and waited until all the parts were together before tightening. One thing I would suggest is to make sure the bolts for the legs are in as tight as possible before attaching the legs and then make sure to tighten until the lock washers are immobile. After that, the bench is sturdy. There is a little give but it should support 200 lbs without a problem. It’s a metal bench so its the comfort is not 5 stars of course but Overall well worth the money for a cute little bench.

I love this little bench! I was looking for something smaller than the one I had on my porch for 20 years. When I found this, I thought to myself, this just might be it. I ordered it and hoped for the best. The reviews were mixed, but I felt sure that it was what I wanted. And, it is exactly what I wanted. It arrived just as promised--one box, not heavy at all. I hoped! When I unpacked it, I found all of the screws and nuts, the tool which which I could build it and the pieces well made and easy to use. Took about 2 hours and I was delighted with the outcome. It is a dark copper color which goes perfectly with my brown house. It is slightly curved which adds to its beauty. One nut was missing, but easily replaced with one I found in my garage. The quality of the material is exceptional. It is light-weight but substantial. Just exactly what I wanted. The color is true; materials are quality; appearance is lovely. I am thrilled.

As described. I love this bench and it is durable too. Packaging and delivery was perfect. The reason for only 4 stars is because I received two left arms as to oppose to one left and one right arm for the bench. I called "Best Choice Products" at the (909) area code number and just heard music for 15 minutes. No one ever picked up the line. I will try contacting them via e-mail to get the right arm for the bench.

I am a 71 year old woman who was able to put this together myself; that in itself is amazing (if you knew me, you would agree). It took me about an hour to get it together. All of the required parts were included and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. The bench looks great, especially from a distance. In terms of weight it feels quite substantial and would comfortably seat one plump adult, two thin adults, or a couple kids. If I were to nit pick, some of the edges are quite rough and the paint job is only fair; however, for where I plan to place it, it looks good. An Allen wrench was shown as "provided" but it did not fit the bolts. I ended up using a pair of pliers to hold the nuts in place and a Phillips screwdriver to turn the bolts.
