Absolutely fantastic tree. We're in our second season putting it up and it is one of the best trees I've ever had. The hinged branches are both sturdy and move smoothly (no wrestling them into place). Each branch has a good number of tips making for a very full, fluffy tree. It is worth noting that it is more of a matte black, so if you want a black tinsel effect this won't work for you. My only real complaint is that the tree is definitely shorter than 6 ft. I don’t write many reviews but this tree is worth it! I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but I’m glad I ordered the tree. I had a similar tree but it was not as full. Each branch has about 8-10 branches on it. It took me a bout an hour to fluff it. Each branch is also perfectly placed and alternates from the row of branches below to help avoid gaps when fluffing the tree. The material used for the tree is high quality and didn’t shed much the first time I put it up. I bought the 7.5 black tree and it’s true to size. **I originally bought this from Amazon and in a time crunch for Christmas purchased the same tree from their website and returned the tree purchased on amazon ** Tree: I ordered the 7.5ft tree. It is truly 7.5 ft. It definitely has the artificial feel to the leaves but I wasn't expecting super realistic for this price point. The price is fair for the quality in my opinion. I love the black! It's so sleek and almost looks really dark green in most lighting. The assembly was so easy. Everything is clearly labeled and there is literally like 4 pieces which is nice. Perfect for small apartments or spaces. Return process: the seller was very responsive to my return request. The tree was very easy to assemble by myself. I need to fluff it a little better but I love how thin it is so it’ll fit well in our nightmare before Christmas/haunted mansion dinning room. I bought this tree for a couple of reasons. But mainly because last year Dec 10, an EF4 tornado struck my town. Our town colors have always been red and black, and a Cardinal as our mascot. I bought the black tree and decorated with red and white lights and ornaments that were specific to my town. This will now always be my hometown tribute tree. I was skeptical because of the price, but it’s great quality and I love it!
