I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but I do make the time when I really feel others might benefit. We’ve been putting off getting an outdoor canopy for a couple of years now. We have a large umbrella that we use on our patio, and unless it rains, it’s enough to shade the sun while we eat. However, we’ve been going to more outdoor events with our children and grandchildren, and recently started selling at flea markets. Yesterday we used it for the first time at a vintage flea market, and I cannot believe we waited so long. When you open it for the first time you will be amazed at what the 10x10 size gives you. We were able to put our 8” table, 2 chairs for us to sit, and all the products we were selling easily within, and still had plenty of room for our customers. Best of all, we had more customers coming to our booth because it was cooler underneath than anyone else’s. We also had a surprise rain shower, a downpour actually, and not a drop came in through the canopy above. There were other canopies and umbrellas at the show but none to equal. At closing, my husband was talking with someone with a similar canopy, who was putting it away and I noticed the material was not as strong as ours, and the metal used seemed more flimsy. It has a similar setup, but just appeared and seemed to be less sturdy overall. We also didn’t open it before the show yesterday, and I was nervous about doing it “live” in case we had issues, but it is literally as easy as it says; I previously watched the video and it works as advertised. When we were done, I told my husband I wanted to try putting it away myself, in case I do a show on my own, and it was so amazing and easy to do, and this is coming from a 71 year old grandmother. I’m sure I won’t be able to do it in 60 seconds, but now I know I can do it alone in about 5 minutes. I do read reviews before I purchase and I saw some negative reviews, something about the poles, but I would say as long as you open and close it properly, they are definitely quite strong and should hold up for many years. I did decide to get separate weights for the 4 poles (40 pounds total), as I thought it might be quicker than using the 4 stakes, and it worked really well. But I’m sure the stakes would have done equally well. I ordered the weights that I found on the same page as this item, and they were so easy and quick to use. I did have an issue with some leaking from the canopy, but customer service took care of me immediately. I would recommend a vented style canopy top because it seems I have more bugs gathering in the pitch from the moisture when it rains too.

We’ve used this product for 5 months about 3 times a week in rain and sunshine. The frame is lightweight and when packaged in the bag, can be rolled. Since the frame is lightweight, be careful not to agitate it too much, this can cause it to bend and loosen the hardware that holds it together. The tarp that covers the frame is decent, but can be damaged fairly quickly, for instance if your tent blows away or limbs fall on it. We upgraded to a heavier duty tarp. Not heavy and super easy to put up all by myself!! I have bought several canopies and have never been able to put them up on my own. Finally. I found one that I was able to put up by myself. I have shoulder and lower back pain and I was scared of buying another tent but this one was so easy to put up and to take down. So far so good!! ... show more

This design is possibly the worst possible, it is certainly the worst I’ve ever owned! We got some wind. My other popup was just fine… this one collapsed almost immediately. The “saddles” that the diagonals sit in popped out, the wind blew it sideways, and now I have broken struts. I tried reinforcing them, got them straight enough, then the rain came. The fabric support wasn’t good enough, and the sides sagged in, and the rain collected. So much so that it popped the diagonals again, and this time broke other struts. Bad news all around, don’t bother buying. Edit: Took parts from a scrapped tent and fixed this one. Found out why it collapsed so easily. Normally, when opening the tent, the slide on the legs lock when fully open. This one doesn’t have locks, so when the wind pushed on it, they slid down, which allowed the diagonal to collapse, taking the tent with it. Jury rigged with wire to hold them up. Helps some. Also, the Velcro to wrap around the poles is only about a half inch wide and not long enough to hold well. And one was even stitched down, so couldn’t be used! I bought it in May, 2023. It's really easy to pop up, it's actually quite sturdy - I live in Colorado and this year we have a lot of severe storms, including hails. This canopy, despite not being attached to the ground have managed to survive through couple of them with no harm. Then another storm has come and it finally blown away my canopy. One of the legs was smashed, so I wanted to replace it. I reached out to "Best Choice" producer and they offered me a free replacement, despite the fact it was longer than 60-days since I bought this product and the damage was entirely my fault. I can't praise enough how easy and stressless it was to talk to their Customer Service. You have my full support, "Best Choice"! ... show more
