I bought this our of frustration- for some reason, all Duelsense charging stations are sold out. I saw this product on Amazon and saw great reviews. So after unsuccessfully attempting to buy the official duelsense charging station on OfferUp, I decided to buy this product. What I experienced was very surprising, seeing that I didn't expect much. I opened the packaged and saw that it matched the PS5 perfectly. It's somewhat minimalist, even though it's a bit thick and stout. But I do love how the lights on the charging station match both the ps5 and the controller almost perfectly. So far, so good! I'm relieved that there is a "smart sense" technology so that the station will stop giving the controller juice once it hits 100%, which is what sold it for me, in addition to it just looking good. 3rd party peripherals for video game consoles get a bad reputation which is mostly warranted. They usually are cheesy with extreme color schemes. Case in point, (almost) every 3rd party controller looks like a cheap plastic toy. But this charging port is very nice and ACTUALLY MATCHES the system. What's also nice is that I can properly shut down my ps5 and charge my controller at the same time. The console actually looks nice without that ugly usb type c wire coming out of it.

Great product and value for the money. No more rats nest of cables and power adapters or fighting over who's controller plugs into the PS5. Greate space saver and charges fairly quickly (But I never timed it - when I need a controller, I pull one off and put the dying one on.)

First thing first is to make sure that you are getting the correct product. Nexigo has several chargers for the PS5 but this one got it almost perfectly right. The controllers fit almost perfectly on the unit, you don't have to place a special attachment to the usb-c port to make it fit, nor do you have to install the controller upside down and try to get it to slide perfectly into the adapter. This unit just works. The style of the unit fits in perfectly with the PS5 looks as if it could have been a product directly from Sony. The orange glow while charging fits in perfectly with the theme and the fact that it stops charging when fully charged is definitely a plus. The controllers seat very well although there was some minor play to learn where to place it, but it does have a small guide that gets you to the right place and unlike the review of some other 3rd party units once it is seated it stays seated. For me the included Thumb Grip Kit is a waste. Others may like it so I won't entirely dismiss it's value but it has no value to me. And the major PLUS was that after waiting a long time for original PS5 availability to no avail, I decided to try this product and it did not disappoint. I would give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. The slight deduction is that the seating, although good, with the lack of the magnetic connection it is not as good as the original Sony product. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my husband and it’s been a life saver. Charges our controllers right up, does exactly what it claims to do. So far no issues with it at all. I was weary buying a brand I am unfamiliar with and for the price was worried it wouldn’t be made well or work that great, but it’s been nothing but perfect so far and I have no complaints!

I absolutely love this DualSense charger! It's quickly become an essential part of my PS5 setup. First off, it just looks great on my entertainment stand and fits well, as it's narrower than the controllers and not very long. Functionally, it's a winner. Controllers recharge quickly, and the glowing orange light is a clear and helpful indicator that they're charging. The build quality is excellent – it feels really solid and has enough weight that it stays put when I'm docking or removing a controller, which is a huge plus. No more sliding around! Beyond charging, it's also fantastic for storage, keeping two controllers neatly organized when they're not in use. And with its intelligent charging, I know my controllers are only getting juiced up when they actually need it, which is great for battery longevity. The price is definitely right. Highly recommend for any DualSense owner!

I recently had the opportunity to test out the NexiGo PS5 Controller Charger with Thumb Grip Kit, and I have to say, I was impressed with its overall functionality and convenience. First off, the charging station dock itself is very sleek and modern in design, with a glossy white finish that matches the PS5 console. It's also compact and lightweight, making it easy to store and travel with if needed. The dualsense charging feature is a real game-changer. It's great to be able to charge both of my controllers at the same time, which means I never have to worry about running out of battery during extended gaming sessions. The LED indicator lights are a nice touch, as they let me know when my controllers are fully charged and ready to use. The thumb grip kit that comes with the charger is also a nice addition. The grips fit well on the controllers and provide a comfortable grip during gameplay, which is especially useful during more intense gaming sessions. In terms of drawbacks, the charging dock can be a bit finicky at times when trying to place the controllers in the correct position for charging. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was smooth sailing. The controller charger is not portable. It is easy to use. It is for the PlayStation five only. It fits two controllers very easily. They just click into place. So, connecting them is super easy!!
