  • I liked it so much, I got another one!
We grabbed another one to keep at the cabin and it has been great there! This is my original review from this item https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FT4CP11/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews I love pizza and have wanted a big, outdoor wood fired pizza oven but funds and space make it impractical to own one. I recently began cooking in the backyard with an Ooni 3 pizza oven. While it produced decent pizzas, I did not like the tall chimney which got in the way and the limit of only using pellets. The pellet chamber was very small managing the fire and making pizzas was hectic. Enter the Napoli Wood Fire and Gas Outdoor Pizza Oven! I sold the Ooni and took a chance on the Napoli and I am glad I did! I love that the fuel tray is quite large so I don't constantly need to add fuel. I also like that I can burn pellets, charcoals, wood chinks, etc. I have found wood chunks to be my favorite and to use a small, USB powered fan to blow into the fuel chamber to give a hotter burn. The oven is fairly light and easy to transport if needed (we have taken it camping). Build quality is nice and sturdy. Pizza parties are great with the Napoli, we cook, eat, and visit and I am not worried about fire management like with the Ooni. I start the oven by soaking a few cotton balls in Isopropyl alcohol and then laying a few small wood chunks on top of them and light them. Give the oven about 15 minutes to preheat (I like to cook at around 700-800*F) and then I am ready for cooking. I usually put a small wood chunk on after each pizza which will then light, burn hot and then I am ready to cook the next one. Be sure to use hard wood like mesquite, fruits woods, and hickory - don't use pine and other soft wood or it will taste bad. If you are looking for a portable, easy to use pizza oven, this is it. Find the fuel you like to use and start cooking! ... show more

  • It’s 2020 buy this and enjoy some good pizza before something else happens
The media could not be loaded. My pizza oven was delivered today and of course I had to give it a try right away. I let it heat up while I ran down the street to grab a ball of dough from the neighborhood pizza shop. I get home and this oven is screaming hot, I run inside and cut the dough into 4 smaller pieces first pizza was pepperoni it literally took 60 seconds and that was probably to much time it was a little dark if you watched the video posted above the kids did not like that too much but it reminded me of a Good coal or wood fired pizza. The second pizza I made with fresh mozzarella me and my father in law made last week again it cooked in about 60 seconds and again the dough charred a bit but it was good I have to say this oven feels well made it is well insulated and gets a super hot it’s also damn cool watching the flames rolling over in the oven I also picked up the propane burner it is great and gets the oven hot quick I threw a few pieces of hickory wood in there they were burning almost instantaneous so if you wanted to make your pizza with just wood alone the propane burner can be used to get the wood going and then shut it off I’m going to suggest you get the propane burner because it is going to get things hotter quicker which means pizza in your stomach as quick as you can If your on the fence about it Just order one it’s 2020 who knows what the hell is gonna happen next this year but while we wait and see order this pizza oven and have some good pizza and have fun making it with your family ... show more

  • I'm now a Pizza Fanatic
I've used this for several months now, on average 2 times per week. I highly recommend getting the gas conversion kit as I had trouble keeping the temperature hot enough for the whole process. With gas (one tank goes on and on) I pre-heat for about 30 minutes--less is not quite hot enough; more can help it to burn too hot--and then add a chunk of wood and move the gas to low right before I shape and top the pizza. This seems to work best for me. Love how easy it is to fire up, cook and clean. I've become a much better pizza (and dough) maker through repetition. This is a great starter oven and has me dreaming about bigger ovens and lifestyles. Get it. You won't be sorry. ... show more

  • Easy to use and fun!
My family does pizza night once a month, usually at a local pizza joint. Now that I have my Bertello Pizza Oven we will be doing it at our house. The Bertello oven is easy, fast and the pizza tastes GREAT!! So far we have only used pre-made pizza crust, so my next foray will be to make my own crust. The money we save not going out will pay for the oven in a few short months. We live in the Midwest and have a pool we use in the summertime. I can't wait for this year's pool and pizza parties! Thank you Bertello! ... show more

  • Worst pizza oven ever
I consider myself a pretty good home cook, but this pizza oven has completely destroyed my faith in home made wood fired pizzas. I have burnt ever pizza I've put in here. The stone doesn't get hot enough to cook the bottom properly and the back of the oven gets so hot it burns the edges. The pizza spatula that comes with it is so big you can't maneuver anything. So disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend. Also read the description very well because I had to purchase the gas propane piece separately 😕 ... show more
