I have spooled several reels of various brands on this so far (both spinning and baitcaster) without issue. It is very intuitive to set up. I'm an avid angler and end up spooling many reels throughout the year. This product definitely makes that much easier to do. My only complaint is that it kinda takes up a bit of space on my desk and it is a little pricey for how simple of a tool it is.

Not the best product but it will work I do think that you're better off just throwing your fishing line spool on the floor like I used to do in the old days than to mess with this thing. But like I said it will work if you have the patience which I do not.

Uber convenient way to respool reels. Respooling reels on poles is a clunky endeavor. This handy little system makes it much more efficient in terms of time and line usage. I think a lot of the negative reviewers don't know how to use it properly.. this thing works exactly as I expected it to. for the money we can't get much better than that. my one critique would be there needs to be basically a washer between the spool of line and this thing. would help to keep the tension more consistent. ... show more
