I bought these roman shades for my sister’s house. She has an older house so we had to do an outside mount. I followed the directions for measuring for outside mount and they fit perfectly. I ordered the green ones and I absolutely love them. More importantly my sister loves them. The verigated linen material has a great texture to it and makes them look more expensive than they really are. I love that there is a bar or weight at each fold that keeps those lines sharp. The blackout quality is exceptional. Since they are not sewn you don’t see light through needle holes in the fabric (which I’ve seen on higher priced Roman shades). My sister’s kitchen faces west and is dreadfully hot when she cooks dinner so I’m hoping the thermal quality is just as good and will update my review at a later time. The only real negative is the white beaded cord used to lower and raise them. It is cheap. It feels and looks cheap. It’s also awkward. It’s not weighted and therefore not heavy enough to hang straight on its own. There is a hole in it, but I don’t think you are supposed to nail or screw it to the wall. We just used 3M tape to hold it to the wall. The cord is also a little longer than the window frame because we had to order a slightly longer length due to sizes available. Despite this, I still gave them 5 stars. All the other positives far outweigh the cheap cord. In fact, my sister loved them so much that we ordered 3 more for her sun porch. The next ones will be inside mount, I’ll also review those once we get them installed. Update: we purchased and hung the inside mount in my sister’s sunroom. They look fantastic. Amazing quality (except for that cheap white roller chain). She has noticed it being quite a bit cooler in her sun porch and kitchen which both have west facing windows.

The shade came directly from China but surprisingly arrived in few weeks. It fits great, looks great and is just what I needed to block the morning sun at my sink. It has a pull chain so I can reach it to raise and lower the shade. I am quite satisfied with this product.

I bought these shades for my church’s nursery. First the good news: They look good and they work well and they were easy to install – I’m a 66-year-old grandmother, and I know very little about tools, and yet I installed these shades in 15 minutes, which says something abt how easy they are. But my first complaint is that there were no written directions for how to do it, and the video that I saw when I ordered them has been taken down, so I couldn’t review it. Thankfully, I remembered how to install them based on what I had seen, but I felt a little lost opening the box and not having that video to refer to. The video that is currently posted is worthless. My second complaint is this: Beware that this is not a fabric shade. It’s more like a printed vinyl shade. I’m guessing it will be sturdy and long lasting and easy to clean, which matters in a church nursery, but it’s not as beautiful as I hoped it would be. My third complaint—and this is the worst one—is this: each of the shades was packaged with the chain and holder tucked inside the shade, so there’s an impression on the vinyl that I don’t know how to get rid of. I hope the humidity in the room eventually relaxes the shade enough that the impression disappears, but I have my doubts, As it is, this shade is not acceptable. Please see the attached photos.

Quality of the fabric is good along with others parts as well. All wrinkles and little indents on fabric smoothed out on its own. Been two weeks so far. Color as described. Great buy!!

I had to return my first order because they did not fit and I followed the exact specifications of measuring. I sized down half an inch and they fit perfectly. Perfect no drill Roman shades. Great value for the money beautiful color and strong tension on the rod.
