The material quality feels good and they fit perfectly over my two 7' casting rods. However...they only fit onto the smallest (6'6") of my spinning rods. My other three spinning rods, each also 7' feet in length, won't fit into the socks because the bottom line guide/eye is too wide. I'm a little bit bummed but only because the product description says that they will fit both casting and spinning rods.

I just bought these rod socks for my saltwater fishing poles and used them the other day on a private charter. One of the guys commented on how nice they were and about fell overboard when I told him how cheap the price was. They are nicely constructed and have a cool little elastic leash on the end to affix to the reel handle to keep it tight. I'll definitely get another set!

Used these to protect 2 St. Croix and 2 Loomis rods in a roof rack on a 2800 mile round trip journey interspersed with tightly packed rides in an Otter floatplane. The rods survived in fine shape. Great product for the price.
