    • ARRIVED OPEN and DOES NOT WORK!!! TOTAL WASTE!!
I seldom complain, but this ARRIVED with the side of the bag CUT OPEN!! The mouse/rat has scuff marks, there are NO instructions, and NO batteries, which both the mouse/rat and controller requires!! Totally NOT impressed. Now, I am going to try to find batteries for this item, as my cats want to see what it is. Put new batteries into the mouse/rat, pushed the switch both ways, as it does not say on or off, and it does NOT work!! DEAD!! I will now attempt to put batteries in the remote control if I can open it to see if that will send a signal, but I doubt it. All the other toys I recently purchased for my cats work with or without the control! Th e control has a screw holding the battery lid on, so I will find a small screwdriver! Removed the screw, put in fresh batteries and does NOT work! Total WASTE of MONEY!! Do yourself a huge favor and Save your money on this one! ... show more

Lots of fun and easy to use. It does take 5 batteries so be sure to have some on hand. Sent my brother one for his cats and they love it. Would definitely buy again.

    • Pretty lame...
I assumed that it was remote controlled. Well....Technically, it is. Forward and backwards, but no steering. You can make it go forward in a straight line, you cannot turn it in any direction. It only turns right when you back it up. It doesn't back straight, only backwards to the right. And it doesn't go left. So to make it go left, you have to back it up and go less than a 360° circle to make it point left and then go straight forward again. So basically, not very usable. The mouse entertained our kitten for about a minute and a half. The kitten is still interested from time to time but that is not why she lost interest. The mouse made it one lap around our kitchen island, hit a chair leg and stopped working. The remote control part is junk and useless but I still gave it 4 stars because my 10 year old son has been hiding it all around the house scaring his sister and mother. Ought one didn’t work well. No. Responsive to remote. Kept stalling. Poorly manufactured. Hated it. Sent back ordered new. Received new one next day. Same issues. It’s just a poorly designed toy. Threw it in the trash. Waste of money ey. Don’t even want refund. Total waste of money.

    • Fast, easy to use: but dogs afraid of it
Ii thought it was a great idea. I have. 3 Yorkies and a Maltese from ages 6-14. I was sure being rat terriers they would enjoy chasing it. Three of the 4 ran and hid and the 14 yo was only one interested. I’ll keep trying and if it won’t work I’ll give it to my granddaughter’s kitty.
