I have an arched fireplace that makes it challenging to fit one of these built in type heaters. With a bit of eyeballing and tape measurering the opening I found the biggest one that would fit into my fireplace. With a hope and prayer I ordered the trim kit as well hoping it would cover the rest of the opening. I am pleasantly surprised with the final fitting. Top of the trim just barely covers the opening. Heat output is nice. And surprisingly quiet. I expected the blower to be louder, but it is very quiet. Visual effects are nice at their basic level, a bit gimmicky with the colored lights on. Similar thoughts on the fire crackling sound effects, a bit gimmicky but not terrible at its lowest setting. Unit slid into place easily and the trim even has a slot for the power cord to come out in the lower right corner.

I ordered 3 or 4 fireplace inserts and none of them fit or they didn't function or look as good as advertised. This one is decent for the price. I've had a real wood burning fire for years and I'm not that thrilled with the fake look of the fire, but the outer appearance looks real with the glass doors and screen behind the doors. It's certainly better than hauling wood into the house and the mess the ash creates. The heat output is ok and the crackling sound adds to the aesthetic of the unit. It was very easy to install. Open the package, take off the protective film and packaging, slide it into your fireplace opening, plug in and enjoy. It's lightweight too so if I want a real fire with wood logs, I can slide it out and use my fireplace. Great for a single retired woman to lift and handle on her own.

Love this fireplace, it works well. When it’s on high, it heats the room with no problem. It’s not loud, barely realize it’s on! The color of the flame is the perfect brightness. We use this a lot more than we thought we would when replacing our wood burning insert!

Appearance is nice and very "real" feeling and the whole unit looks nice in our house. The crackling "sounds" it emits are laughable at best. Sounds like someone playing with a plastic chip bag, and the speaker is worse than an 80s payphone earpiece. Luckily you can turn that off. The heat leaves much to be desired, as well. While it comes out hot, the fan isn't near strong enough to efficiently distribute the heat in any reasonable amount of time. If you stand within 3 inches of it, you might be able to feel something similar to someone lightly breathing on your ear. That's about it. The remote is nice. Nothing special about it. Overall probably wouldn't have purchased this had I known how bad the heat was, I can get over the sounds and just not use them. Returning it would have been a pain.

I COUNLDN'T BE MORE HAPPIER WITH MY PURCHASE. ITS GORGOUSE!!! EASY TO INSTALL. FINALLY THE FIRE PLACE IS COMPLETE. WE TOOK OUT A REAL FIREPLACE AND ADDED THIS. DEFINATELY A PROJECT, BUT ITS COMPLETE AND BEAUTIFUL. LIVING IN ARIZONA WE ONLY USED THE FIREPLACE ON CHRISTMAS MORING. THIS IS JUST SO MUCH MORE PRACTICAL FOR US. GREAT PRICE TOO!! MY HUSBAND DID AN AMAZING JOB ON THIS! NOW I WANT ONE IN OUR FAMILY ROOM.

I waited to make sure I had no issues after installing. I have had no problems. I use it often to supplement the heat in my LR. The fan is quiet and it does give the warm comfortable feeling of a real FP. The construction feels solid. I did add a trim as this was a wood burning FP conversion so the size was a bit odd but it was very straightforward. I am very satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly, my only gripe is that the crackling isn’t super believable. But, it’s not a deal breaker. I love the size. I love the doors and the curtain. At a glance it just looks like any other fireplace. Haven’t installed yet, so I’ll update the review after. It did come with a small dent in the frame, I’m thinking it won’t affect the installation and it doesn’t seem to have damaged any of the functionality of the piece. The handles on the glass doors aren’t my favorite, but they do screw off so they can be replaced. Love that there’s a button panel for the inevitable remote control loss. So far, I’m really glade this is the one we bought!
