  • Excellent Quality, Though a newer version did just release
I brought this monitor light as it seemed to me to be the best one that offers both backlight and a screen light . Even though it is on the pricier side, I would say it was money well spent. out of all the items within my setup, this is the one that I think has the biggest overall effect. It is excellent at what it does and has great connectivity to the controller. it is also FAIRLY bright! BenQ has just recently released a newer version of this item. If you do want one, this is an excellent option. Though I would recommend the newer version (Halo 2) ... show more

  • Must be the best desk light money can buy
This was a great addition to the late night work / gaming all feels worthy of the price tag auto function works great and no reflection on the screen or my eyes just light where it needs to go. Fits perfect on a curved screen which normal cheaper lights will not and glare off the corners of the screen. Wireless control instantly pairs after putting the batteries in and works and can dim the light or warmth if your feeling like a cozy reading session turn it all the way down. Initially was hesitant on the price but it’s well worth it being the best desk light you can get. Control wheel feels premium metal and weighed light mounts steady even when moving desk up and down or typing. ... show more

  • Definitely worth it for the quality and comfort it provides
One of the best things about this product is the wireless controller, which makes it really easy to change the brightness and color. The controller is simple to use, so you can adjust the light while sitting at your desk. You can also make small changes to both brightness and color, which helps reduce eye strain, especially if you work on the computer for a long time. The light doesn’t reflect on the monitor screen and softly lights up the area around it without any glare. This makes it much better than regular monitor lamps and helps you stay focused while working. It’s easy to set up, attaches securely to the monitor, and doesn’t take up much space, so your desk stays tidy, which is a big plus. The design is clean, and the quality of the light is great. There are no shadows or extra reflections on the screen, which helps you concentrate. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to reduce eye fatigue while working long hours. Overall, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo costs a bit more, but it’s definitely worth it for the quality and comfort it provides. ... show more

  • A must have desk accessory. Space saver
I recently bought the BenQ ScreenBar Halo LED Monitor Light to spruce up my workspace, and it’s honestly a game-changer! It clips onto my monitor so easily with its counterweight design, fitting my curved screen perfectly with the included adapter—no fuss, no scratches. The front light bathes my desk in bright, glare-free illumination (500 lux minimum!), making it super easy to see my keyboard and notes, while the backlight adds a cozy glow behind the monitor that really cuts down on eye strain. The wireless controller is a slick touch, letting me tweak brightness and color temperature (2700K to 6500K) without cluttering my desk, though it took a sec to get used to the touch sensitivity. I love the auto-dimming mode for adjusting to room light, and it’s USB-powered, so I just plug it into my laptop. For $179, it feels premium and has totally leveled up my desk vibe—definitely recommend if you want a cleaner, comfier setup ... show more

  • Best screenbar out there, the remote and controls could be better
This is the best screenbar you can buy. It looks good, and works as advertised. There is absolutely no glare on the screen whatsoever, and it lights up your desk perfectly - no shadows, no bright spots, no eye strain, very comfortable, even at night. The ability to change the light color is great when you work at night. I don't use the back light as my monitor is not against a wall, but that's a very good feature. I like that the remote is wireless - I'm a wire snob. I have it installed on a Dell U3219Q. It only covers the thin bezel and doesn't extend onto the display at all. I also have a Logitech Brio camera installed on top of it. Both are very stable and there is no issue with either. So why 4 stars? Because of the remote and the available controls. - The remote: as others have said, it's a little slow to respond. You have to hover your hand over the sensor for it to light up. Takes a couple of seconds, so it's in no way a dealbreaker, but it's more annoying than I thought it'd be. - The controls: As others have mentioned, I wish the brightness could go lower. There's a ton of little steps (that's a very good thing), so you have to turn the wheel quite a few times to go through all of them, and the lowest setting is still a little too bright at night. ... show more

  • Well worth the splurge!
Easy and straightforward assembly. Just make sure your to check if your monitor can accommodate this light bar. Some monitors like LG’s gaming models have a ring light on the back that does not allow this light bar to securely sit on the monitor. Love the functionality of this light bar and the ease of having the controls near my hand to change settings on the fly. The feel of the dial control feels premium. My most used feature is the auto dimming. I press and hold the button for 2 seconds and it senses the ambient light of my workspace and automatically adjusts the brightness of the light bar to provide optimal illumination based on my surroundings. Use it during very early morning, gloomy days, and evenings when I’m burning the midnight oil. ... show more

  • Excellent light bar for eye strain
The ScreenBar Halo has excellent build quality with the premium feel and price. I highly recommend spending a bit more money to get this quality product. I expect this bar to last a long time so the money spent up front will pay off in the long run. The light output allows for small enough adjustments in brightness and color that you should be able to find one that suits your needs. I also love that you can set the bar to use only the backlight, front light or both. ... show more
