They seem comfortable in them and the collars aren't floppy or large! It is easy to blow up and adjust to the cat's comfort. Bought this for our 8 pound female yorkie. Fits perfectly. Her neck circumference is 10” for reference. It allows her to eat, drink and move around much easier than the hard plastic cone the vet gave her. The plus is if she falls asleep, she is wearing a pillow :-). Seriously, it’s good quality, soft and works well. Recommended.

Very comfortable for my puppies easy to blow up and deflate and it is very good quality, but in order to get the two year warranty, have your receipt or I think there’s a QR code that you can simply just scan. Wish I figured that out until it was too late because I think you have To set up the warranty within 30 days, it is washable. The pillow is soft and cozy.

Ordered the XL for our great pyrenees that was about to be spayed. Works great and it fits. It's comfortable enough that she can use it as a pillow sort of. I've taken it off several times for bathroom breaks or a rest and had no issues with the velcro whatsoever. I did have to get my husband to inflate it the first time, but that may have been user error since it has been a breeze to refill. Photo was true to color, based on the purple we received. Just be wary of what you need it for. With this on, our girl can still somewhat reach her privates, but cannot reach the incision site of her spay. If this were for a male being neurered, I'm not sure how much it would help. Take that with a grain of salt though, since ours is Great Pyrenees who has a long body.

Purchased this to use instead of the cone of shame after my pup Rollo got neutered couple weeks ago. It’s a Medium. He is a mini multigenerational Australian Labradoodle that weighs about 15lbs. He wears a collar that’s 10”-15” I think. His actual neck measurement is about 11”. The collar fit him well. I had to push it to get his neck to pop into it but it was not too tight at all. Actually perfect. I did not run his collar thru the loops but they’re on there if you choose. He could not get it off once the Velcro strap was connect around the outside. So THIS COLLAR DID NOT STOP him from LICKING himself. He’s got a pretty long body and is very flexible. However, I did not want to by a cone and use it. It did act as a deterrent though. Although he could still reach to lick the incisions, he did not do it nearly as frequently as when he had nothing on. Vet’s office said usually a couple gentle corrections is enough to deter a dog from licking or bothering the incisions (barring any unforeseen irritations from infections or such I presume). This Was Not the case for my Rollo. With it on his neck though, he only required a few NO’s each day. Without wearing it he was constantly trying to get at the two incisions. I did look into getting a larger size but the diameter of the inflatable donut part is the same no matter the size. So we just stuck it out with this one. Also good to know that I blew it up just one time, the first time. I did not have to add more at any point because of leaks etc. If your dog is flexible and has a long body, this likely will not be a 100% effective cone alternative. He was very comfortable, took lots of naps and wore it 24/7 for 8 days. He was still able to play with his toys, sleep, eat & drink while wearing it. I pushed his collar down below the donut and kept donut up higher on his neck. This also made it possible to connect his leash for going potty outside. It has a soft cover over on it so it’s not just plastic directly touching him and I guess it offers some protection from chewing. I did not rate the Chew Proof. He never chewed on it or tried to. He initially tried to push it off with his back paws but it lasted maybe 2 mins max. He did scratch at the area below where it was placed on his neck but nothing excessive. This did not puncture/hurt it at all.

I truly have heartfelt pains as I have watched in the past one of my fur babies struggling to eat, drink, relax, or... pretty much anything after having surgery and having the "cone" collar on. We'll, this amazing, soft, plush, and non-evasive, easy to inflate and secure with high quality, velcro straps, alternative collar does it's purpose! Recently our little fur puppy, "Baby", was still able to be a part of the family while not being able to jeopardize the incision of her surgery! She was so apparently joyful and we were so happy to see her "freedom" of suffering more-so with those long plastic cone collars! I would recommend this for anyone who has witnessed the agony our little fur babies endure after a needed surgery and doesn't want to allow any further discomfort.

Absolutely lovely. My pup sadly got bitten by a neighbor dog and had to get some staples put in her side. They sent her home with the cone of shame, and she was so upset. She wouldn't eat or drink or barely move. We thought she was just tired, but once we took the cone off she was happy. We tried putting a small t-shirt on her, and she was equally as unhappy with that. Enter this donut. We put it on her, and she wasn't super thrilled, but she was moving and eating and drinking just fine. Seeing as she needs to wear something for 2 full weeks, we're happy we found this. It doesn't chafe at her skin, it was super easy to blow up (2 full breaths for me), and it stays on perfectly. She can't wiggle or paw her way out of it. We ordered the medium and she's about 26 pounds.
