Purchased two of these to replace some old hanging shelves that weren't looking so nice anymore. They arrived more quickly than expected and were very heavy, so plan on having help to get these inside. Upon unpacking, one had some damaged pieces (the drawer bottoms each had a significant puncture/crack on them). The seller was responsive and offered a generous partial refund since it would have been a big hassle to repack and reship these otherwise, and I can find a way to patch the pieces--which will mostly be unseen anyway. These came together fairly easily; the directions don't indicate wood glue nor does it come with the parts, but I recommend it anyway as it does seem to benefit all of this type of furniture that goes together with dowels and interlocking cams. The glass doors came intact and overall, these look much nicer and classier as a replacement in our den. I would definitely recommend these, but if you have the ability to inspect the package upon delivery, that would be a good idea to make sure there's no damage. ... show more

The cabinet is very sturdy and nice looking. The soft closure is a nice touch. The only complaint i have is that the right side piece does not line up perfectly 90 degrees with the top piece because of the pre-drilled holes not being perfectly straight, resulting in the right door not being able to be adjusted to sit perfectly. Also, make sure you do this with two ppl, as recommended per the manual, especially in the beginning. The pieces are heavy and you could easily damage something (or yourself) until you're past assembling the legs and flipping the cabinet right side up. ... show more

I am so so happy I found this. When it comes, it is so heavy. As other people have said, the instructions could have been clearer, especially when it comes to the drawer glides. But it was otherwise a straight forward build. I have built many pieces of furniture (lots of ikea, and other things from Amazon), and the quality of this for the price is much higher. Overall it looks good once assembled but some parts require improvement such as the mechanism used to attach the glass doors to the panels. Due to these imperfect parts it is hard to assemble everything evenly, especially the doors and panels. The gold handles are the best looking parts and elevate the overall impression. ... show more

My review is based on 3 stars due to two issues. The top piece came out of the box with a significant deep scratch, which happens to be front facing:( Also, the bottom piece was missing a hole whereas, I was unable to secure a tool for tightening.
